*Jace's P.O.V*
It was a little after midnight when Clary and I came home with Autumn and Faith. I unlocked the front door only to be greeted by Robert and Maryse shouting "SURPRISE!"
"Guys, thanks for the mini-party but try not to make a lot of noise because you'll wake the girls." But, it was too late, they were already awake and screaming their heads off.
Clary and I knelt down next to the twins' carriers and picked them up. I brought Autumn up to my chest and rubbed her back, hoping she would stop crying. In about 5 minutes, her crying became quiet hiccups.
"That a girl," I said to her, smiling.
"What are their names, Jace?" Robert asked
"Autumn and Faith. Autumn has red hair and Faith has blonde hair."
"They are adorable." Maryse said to Clary. "can i hold her?"
"Of course!" Clary said, gently laying Faith in Maryse's arms.
Robert stood behind Maryse as she bounced the baby in her arms. "Jace, honey, you and Clary look exhausted. Your dad and I can watch the twins and Chris if you want to go to bed.
"That would be wonderful. Are you sure you don't mind?" Clary asked
"I'm positive, Clary. I want to spend time with my grandchildren." she smiled as she spoke about her grand kids.
"Thanks, mom. I love you," I yawned and grabbed Clary's hand as I walked up the stairs to our bedroom.
