I took a deep breath while waiting for Clary to come down the aisle. It was the day of our wedding and needless to say, I was nervous. The wedding march started and that's when I knew it was time. In an hours time, she would be my wife. I saw her as she walked around the corner. She looked beautiful in her red wedding dress. She blushed bright red when she saw me standing there. At least I'm not the only one that's nervous. She took her hand in mine and we listened to the minister speak.
"Do you, Jace Lightwood, take Clarissa Fray to be your lawfully wedded wife? In sickness and in health, for rich or for poor, for better or worse, until death do you part?"
"I do," I whispered.
The minister turned, looked at Clary and said,
"Do you, Clarissa Fray, take Jace Lightwood to be your lawfully wedded husband? In sickness and in health, for rich or for poor, for better or worse, util death do you part?"
"I do," she said quietly.
"Very well. I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss your bride."
I put my hands on either side of her face and kissed her. When we pulled away, the crowd started cheering. She was my wife. She was officially Clary Lightwood.
"I love you," I said as we walked to the reception.
"I love you, too."

Jace and I had been married for a month now and we had just gotten back from our honeymoon last week. I opened my eyes and looked at Jace's sleeping form. All of a sudden, I felt a wave of nausea. I sprinted to the bathroom and threw up. Jace came in behind me and held my hair out of my face.
"Clary, are you okay?" He asked groggily.
When I could breathe again, I said
"I'm okay, I think. I just woke up and felt sick. Maybe it was something I ate during the honeymoon."
He led me back to the bed and told me to try and go back to sleep. So I did.
I'd been sick for about a week now and Jace is starting to get worried. While he was training, I walked into the bathroom and locked the door behind me. Once in front of the mirror, I lifted up my tank top and examined my stomach. Just as I thought, I had a small bump sticking out between my hips. I think I'm pregnant. To be sure, I took a pregnancy test out of the medicine cabinet and followed the instructions. My little timer rang when the five minutes were up. I looked down at the test only to confirm my suspicions. That little pink plus sign was enough for me. I threw the test away and went back into the training room.
"Jace, I have something I want to tell you." He looked at me weirdly and said, "What?" I took a deep breath and said "I'm pregnant"
"Really?" He asked.
"Yeah. Look for yourself if you don't believe me." I pulled up my shirt, grabbed his hands on rested them on my belly. I felt a little nudge, indicating that the baby just kicked. And I'm pretty sure he felt it too.
"That's amazing," he breathed.
"So you're not mad, then?"
"Why would I be mad? I'm very excited." He smiled and kissed my belly.
"I'm done with training for today, lets go out for a while," he took my hand and led me outside.
"Where the hell do you plan on taking me? I'm really not dressed to go anywhere fancy." I told him as I pulled on my jacket close to my body.
"Relax, we're just going to Taki's."
He opened the door for me and sat down at a table. A faerie named Kayli came and took our order.
"What can I get for you?" She asked us
When we had ordered, I took the opportunity to say "I guess the pregnancy is going to put everything on hold, isn't it?"
"Yes, but it's okay. Don't worry about it. Jace told me.
We finished eating then walked hand in hand back to the Institute and was greeted by Alec and Isabelle.
"Where were you guys?" Izzy asked
"We went to Taki's for lunch." Jace said.
"And you didn't take me with you?" Alex complained.
"Sorry, bro. Maybe next time." He patted the top of Alec's head and went inside, taking me with him.
