The Truth That Was Never Told (Omori)

Chapter Ten: You lied.

Basil was walking to Sunny's house but stopped immediately two houses down from Kel's house, from where he was standing, he could see Kel talking to Sunny. Kel had waved to Sunny and went back inside his house, Sunny then started to walk home, which was right next to Kel's. Basil waited until Sunny went inside, when Sunny got inside, Basil started walking towards the house. Once Basil reached the door, he knocked.
"Sunny? It's me, Basil."
Sunny opened the door giving Basil a somewhat afraid but confused look.
"B-basil.. what are you doing here..?" Sunny stuttered.
"I thought you said you would only hang out with me..."
"I-.. I did."
"You broke your promise."
"N-no I didn't... I've been inside the past few days.."
"Sunny.. don't play stupid, I saw you leaving Kelsey's house earlier."
"..."
"You broke your promise Sunny.. and broken promises result in punishment..."
"... What..?" Sunny looked up at Basil to see him holding his shears, gripping them angrily. Basil rushed toward Sunny and sliced him on the cheek.
Basil then tries to stab Sunny in the throat until he hears a knock on the door. Basil throws the shears across the room and slowly opens the door but not wide enough for someone to see Sunny.
Basil looks outside in confusion until feeling soft and warm fur up against
his ankle realizing that it's Mewo. Once Basil walks back inside, Sunny pushes Basil back out and onto the ground, slamming the door and locking it.
Basil starts beating on the door about to yell but realizes people may hear him, so Basil decides to head back home.
Sunny was crying inside his room shaking, he decided to calm himself and clean the wound, after cleaning the wound he put a bandage on it and decided to head to bed.
