Sunny had woken up at 8 A.M. confused about where he was at, it took him a moment to realize he was in Kel's room.
"GOOD MORNINGGGGG SUNSHINEEEE!!!!"
Sunny was startled by Kel's sudden yelling.
"S-sunshine..?"
Sunny's face turned a bright red that was clearly visible.
"Yep! That's your new nickname from now on!"
Sunny was flustered by the name Kel had called him.
"A-ah, alright.."
"C'mon! Hero made breakfast!"
"O-okay."
Kel grabbed Sunny by the wrist and raced down to the kitchen where Hero was making breakfast.
"... I can't remember too much of what happened yesterday but I guess Kel and Hero are getting along again..." Sunny thought to himself.
"Ah, hello Kel, good morning Sunny!"
"Hi Hero!"
"Hey Sunny...? Are you feeling better..?"
It took Sunny awhile to understand what Kel was talking about.
"Hm..? What do you mean..?"
Kel looked at Sunny in shock.
"How do you not remember..?"
Sunny stared at Kel in confusion until he realized the bandages wrapped around his arms and legs.
"How did I not realize these before..?"
Kel started to explain.
"Well... you were injured so I brought you back here, if I hadn't checked on you, you probably would've... died. And you had fallen asleep here so we just decided it'd be best to keep you here for the night."
"Ah, alright..."
Sunny still felt weak from the previous night. He felt sick and lightheaded.
"Hey Sunny... are you alright? You don't look so good..."
Sunny stared blankly at the floor and fainted. A loud thud could be heard from the kitchen.
"Hey what's going on out here..?"
Hero saw Kel looking down at Sunny and approached Kel.
"Hero... Are you sure he's going to be okay..?" Kel mumbled as he was holding tears.
"He'll be just fine... He's just horribly weak at the moment... Put him on the couch for now."
"But what about mom and dad..?"
"Who cares, our friend is more important."
Kel was happy Hero didn't care about what his parents thought for once, it was rare. Kel put Sunny on the couch and headed into the kitchen to eat.
