Sunny's eyes shot open, it was still dark outside, although it wasn't a surprise since it was 1:00 in the morning. It took Sunny a minute to adjust his eyes, as he tried to get up, he felt a weight causing him to lay back down. It was Kel's arm.

". . ."

"This is a dream."

Kel tossed around for a minute due to Sunny's sudden movement and pulled Sunny closer to his chest.

"THIS ISN'T A DREAM."

Sunny wasn't sure if he should wake Kel up or let him sleep, Sunny thought his face was adorable as he slept and he was comfortable in the position he was already in, so he decided not to wake him.

A few hours pass as a sudden knock could be heard from downstairs, Kel was the first to wake up, to his surprise, Sunny was cuddled up by his chest, just now squinting his eyes to the sudden wake up. Kel's face was a flustered deep red mess, so he decided to quickly get out of the bed without saying a word.

"Kel-?"

"H-hi Sunny-! Did you uh, sleep well?"

"Good going Kel, you sound too nervous, he's gonna think you stayed with him in HIS bed just to be a creep..."

"It was good.. thank for aski-"

Sunny was cut off by the door being pounded on even louder.

"It's only 4 A.M. Who would do this so early..?"

"Aubrey would.."

"I highly doubt it's Aubrey.. all well, let's go check."

Kel ran down the stairs jumping the last few steps while Sunny walked down cautiously, his feet touching every single step. Kel answered the door and to his and Sunny's surprise, the person standing at the door was Hero.

"Hero? Why are you here so early in the morning-? Me and Sunny were trying to sleep..."

"Kelsey Desoto. Do you realize how worried we all were?!" Hero raised his voice a little, his face said he was upset, worried, angry, but yet relieved. He was relieved that Kel was with a close friend they both trusted.

"You mean how worried you were?"

. . .

Hero looked at Kel with the most miserable face, but it wasn't because Kel didn't come home, it was because he knew that his parents didn't care about Kel, Hero was the golden child after all. Kelsey just living as the shadow of Hero, the one that was never good enough, never won any thing besides a basketball game trophy. But even when he won that, his parents told him he needed to do something more useful with his life. Whenever Kel got told these things, he'd feel depressed even just outright miserable. It was tiring for him. But the smile that has been plastered onto his face since he was a little boy covered it all up.

"Kel.. You know they care too..."

Bullshit.

"Okay then, anyway, sorry that I worried you so bad, but.. is it alright if I still stay with Sunny-?"

"Hm.. alright, but when you come home tomorrow you have to get me a sandwich from Gino's."

"Awww... I was gonna save that money for me and Sunny!"

"You owe me a coffee then."

"Deal!"

As soon as Hero left, Kel felt a light weight fall on his shoulder. Sunny had fallen asleep on Kel's shoulder, although he was slowly sliding down-.

Kel decided to carry Sunny bridal style and take him to bed, as Kel walked up the stairs he realized something...

"Wait.. do I.. still sleep with Sunny-?"
