The Bakugou household had started like any other morning, Alpha Bakugou was in an early meeting with a neighboring pack. And Luna Bakugou was chasing her hardheaded son throughout the house, Katsuki tried to avoid her as he got ready for school.

"Katsuki, would you please listen to reason?"  Katsuki's mother trailed behind him, exasperated with her son.

"Mom, I don't need to find my luna, I need to focus on becoming the alpha when I graduate high school," he told her rolling his eyes, making his way down the stairs.

"Katsuki Bakugou, you stop walking this instance and look at me!" His mother yelled, causing him to freeze in his tracks and turn to her.

"Geez, you are just so stubborn! Listen to me, I know you have been dying to become alpha your whole life and you worked really hard for it, and I hate to tell you this, but you need to find your luna before you can become one! It's been the code for thousands of years in this pack."

"What! Since when? Why didn't you tell me this before!?" He shouted loudly; his face screwed up in anger.

"Well, you turned eighteen months ago, we thought you would've found her by now, we even traveled to neighboring packs," she mentioned shyly.

"THATS what that was? I thought we were just being social to keep the treaties good," he sighed pinching his nose, trying to take deep, calming breaths, just like his therapist told him too. He sorts of had anger issues; his mom hoped finding his luna would help him.

"Look I'm sorry Kats, but it's the code, you need a luna to help run this pack and be the best alpha you can be."

"I can be the best alpha without one!"

"No, you cannot, and I know it doesn't make sense but trust me you'll get it when you find her," she patted his back before walking away to find her alpha to help with her headache.
Katsuki stood there for a moment fuming with anger as he tried to think about what he could do, banging his head against the railing.

I could pretend to find my Luna and get some dumb bimbo from school to go along with it... my mom would never believe it though.

Sighing he picked up his keys and headed out the door to get to school before he was really late, he hated being late.

"(Y/N), get down here for uh, breakfast!" The caregiver called up to (y/n), who was currently getting dressed for school. Today was her eighteenth birthday, which was a big deal as a wolf and completely terrifying. (Y/n) was known as a loner, discovered one night by the pack's territory next to her dead parents, who were seeking refuge from their pack alpha, who had started a war thirty years ago that finally ended fifteen years ago. She had been only a year old at the time, the packs beta, Enji, found her crying in the bushes, covered in her parents' blood. He took her to the alpha and was giving a home by a lovely woman who took lone wolf children, (y/n) grew to see her as a mother figure, she basically raised her her whole life. Finally, being eighteen though, was a wakeup call to her that once high school was over, she'd have to move out and find a job in the human part of the city or find duties to fulfill in the pack that she called hers. Contemplating all of these thoughts she jumped in surprise when she entered the kitchen hearing a loud pitched "surprise" be shouted at her. Smiling she looked around to see her caregiver, Molly Stripe, and the five other loners who aged from four to twelve standing there with a present in hands.

"You guys! You didn't have to!"

"Of course we did dear! It's not every day you turn the big eighteen! Maybe you'll be lucky and find your mate!" Molly smiled at her handing her the brightly wrapped red gift.
