Trip to the Beach

The day had started rather frustrating due to the fact I had waited til the last minute to pack anything for the trip that the bumbling idiot, Tamaki, had planned. Quickly packing a duffle bag full of clothes, shoes, and toiletries I stepped out from my room to the quiet halls of my family's estate. The place was normally always quiet, very little maids roamed around and my family was never home. Walking towards the kitchen I saw the head maid walking towards me with a certain mouse following closely behind.

"Master Kyoya! Your guest has arrived, and here she is, safe and sound," she announced, stepping aside so the poor girl behind her could step forward.

"Thank you, you may leave us," I told her continuing walking into the kitchen.

"Aren't you a morning person," Haruhi laughed sarcastically taking a seat at a booth at the island.

"You know me so well," I grumbled as I poured us both a cup of tea. Sitting across from her he looked up to see the slight frown across her face.  "Did I say something wrong?"

"No! Its just, Kyoya we've been together now for almost six months and no one knows yet!" She huffed out, glaring at the granite counter.

"I'm sorry, Haruhi, you know I want to tell people, but you know they wont be so open to accept it, since half the host club and school even has a crush on you, and knowing my parents they'll never approve, and to keep from complications I would rather wait until after I graduate and move out until we made a full announcement," I voiced out all the problems that would follow of us announcing that we have been dating for so long now. Even I'm still surprised of my new found relationship, I was never planning of starting one anytime soon, especially with the one girl every one was fond of. I'm not really sure when I had found myself attracted to her, I'm assuming it was around the time we went to "rescue her" from her job.

"I know, I understand, I'm sorry I'm being selfish, " She mumbled as she sipped her tea. I frowned at the way she said it, and the way she looked still. This probably made her completely unhappy. Not loving her the way she deserved to be loved, and I hoped she gave me the time I needed to work on making her happy. 

"Lets at least enjoy this mini get away together," I smiled at her. She smiled faintly at me before continuing to sip her tea.

"Sir, your limo is here," a maid spoke up.

"We're coming," she bowed before walking away. I grabbed Haruhi's bag along with my own as I walked us to the front door where a limo was waiting for us. It was going to be a long drive so I made sure to stock up on comfortable things for Haruhi. After placing our bags in the trunk I opened the door for her to get in before I followed behind. Sitting next to her I grabbed a pillow placing it behind her and placing a blanket over her lap. Dimming the lights I told the driver to not interrupt us because she was going to nap. After the drive started I got more comfortable in the seat with my laptop resting on my knees as I went over documents. Haruhi next to me sighed as she scrolled through her phone as she laughed every now and then, probably texting the twins.

"Are you bored?" I spoke up, without looking up.

"A little, and I'm kinda hungry," she patted her stomach. I set the laptop down and picked up the remote next to me, clicking a button, a Tv screen appeared in front of us with a movie list. I handed her the remote as I opened a cabinet and grabbed two waters a bag of popcorn. She selected a comedy movie and opened the popcorn and began to munch. I picked up my laptop once more but got a disapproval grunt from the small girl beside me.
