This is set after the all the members graduated highschool and are now on their last year of college visiting America with Taiga as a makeshift street basketball team for the local tournament Taiga asked help for. Kana is also an O/C I made up because I had the cutest sorry for Atsushi, even though I love almost every character in KNB I love him the most ❤️ rate/comment/follow! I also do requests!

Atsushi and the rest of the GOM exited the plane after the very long flight from Tokyo all the way to California to meet Taiga. Yawning he grabbed his bags from the cart brought to them all thanks to Akashi getting them first class tickets, even though he could of afforded his own. He knew not to take this summer for granted, it was his last chance of freedom before his last year in college, and then taking over the family company, which he wasn't sure he wanted to do anyways. Walking alongside the rest of his friends towards two black SUVs he sighed at the sun beating down on him, sometimes he hated being so tall.
"America sure is different," Daiki mumbled as they loaded the cars with their luggage. Getting in with Daiki and Tetsu he agreed with a low grumble, not really in the mood to make conversation.
"Atsushi, are you alright?" Tetsu asked in his normal monotone voice.
"I'm tired, hungry, and just want to relax," he grumbled in annoyance.
"I agree, that plane ride was awful," Daiki agreed watching out the window. After an hour drive from the airport to the house they were staying at Atsushi was on the verge of crushing the two idiots who wouldn't shut up the whole car ride. Once the car stopped he jumped out the car and grabbed his bags and stomped all the way towards the door.
"Why do you guys have to annoy him into a bad mood?" Kise whispered.
"Oi it was Tetsu's fault!" Daiki defended himself.
"You kept up with the argument," Tetsu glared.
"Knock it off you two! You're being ridiculous right now," Shintaro lashed at them getting them to stand there in a glare off. Before anyone knocked on the door it swung open to reveal a half naked Taiga.
"You guys made it! Great come on in!" He stepped out of the way to let them inside. Atsushi stepped inside the large house and was pleased to see how roomy it was, modern with minimum decor.
"We can't resist a free trip to America! This is going to be fun!" Kise cheered.
"I'll show you to your rooms, luckily we have enough, my dad isn't here currently, he might stop by throughout the summer but he's busy with work trips and meetings so I doubt it," Taiga said as he showed them each a bedroom.
"Here you go, hopefully the bed isn't too small," Taiga said showing Atsushi his room. The hardwood was cool under his feet, the large king bed sat itself the middle of the room, a television hanging on the wall in front of it, a door leading to a small closet and another door leading to a personal bathroom. There was even a small balcony that looked out towards the ocean.
"How rich are you, Taiga? I would of never guessed with your low class attitude," Atsushi mocked with a smirk.
"I could say the same to you! I was brought up quiet well actually, my father lets me do as I please as long as I keep a good head on my shoulder," he smiled lightly as he left Atsushi to himself. Sighing again, he started to unpack his bags, placing his clothes and shoes in the closet. After unpacking he walked out to the living room where he saw everyone sitting around talking amongst themselves.
"Well we can order food and then tonight I hope you guys are ready to party! Street ballers are hosting a beach party to have some fun before the tournament begins this weekend, be prepared for a lot of drunk idiots," Taiga laughed as he got out some takeout pamphlets. After deciding on pizza and wings Taiga ordered the large food order as everyone talked about the party.
"I can't wait to see the chicks! Nothing's better than watching drunk girls in bikinis," Daiki grinned being the perv he was.
"Is it really alright for us to drink at an unknown place? We don't know anyone," Kise said worried.
"You don't have to drink, I'm sure we'll have fun," Akashi smiled at the men who were starting to act like teenage boys again.
"Well I'm planning on hooking up, unlike you babies," Daiki laughed.
"I wish you weren't so gross," Shintaro frowned.
"Look as far as I'm concerned none of us have had any luck in school with getting girlfriends considering we're all single, and it's for the best cause we're about to go to our first American party where a bunch of hot, drunk girls are going to be at," Daiki frowned.
"Um I have a girlfriend," Tetsu spoke up.
"So do I? You've literally went out to eat with us," Kise said.
"I'm also seeing someone, along with Akashi," Shintaro laughed at Daiki.
"Tetsu you don't count, technically you've had a girlfriend since middle school according to Satsuki, and honestly I don't care enough to keep up with any of your lives," he Daiki grumbled. "Taiga, Atsushi are you seeing anyone?".
"I'm talking to someone but I'm not sure where it's going," Taiga mumbled.
"No, I don't care about relationships," Atsushi spoke.
"No, just food," Kise laughed, making everyone else laugh. Soon enough the food arrived and Atsushi wasted no time in stuffing his face with the piping hot food, which was surprisingly really good.
"Is everything good?" Taiga mumbled with a full mouth. Grumbles were heard from Daiki and Atsushi who both also had stuffed mouths with pizza and French fries.
"Greasy, but tasty," Akashi said with a small smile.
"At least it's spicy," Kise was eating the hot wings. Shintaro and Tetsu both stuck to the cheesy pizza along with some water. After the food was gone, with the help of mostly Daiki, Taiga, and Atsushi, they all went to their separate rooms to ready for the party. Atsuhi stepped in the shower and was relieved to see it was large enough for him. The water cascaded down the giants body, water droplets catching in his muscles. A shiver ran through his body as he stepped out the shower, drying off from head to toe. His outfit of choice was a pair of purple shorts and a white tank top with sport sneakers. Putting his hair in a ponytail he grabbed his cellphone and wallet and stepped out the room to see Akashi standing in the living room with the same set up, except his pants were red and his tank was black. Kise walked out in light faded jeans and a opened button down shirt, showing off his abs. The rest of the group finally joined them and they all followed Taiga out the back door and walked towards the beach. Atsushi walked silently in the back, munching on a bag of chips he grabbed before leaving the house, watching the sun lower itself in the ocean horizon. After walking for a half hour they reached a large group on the beach set up with speakers and a DJ blasting rap music, making the people on the beach dance with drinks in their hands. Taiga walked through the groups of people introducing the group to different people he knew until they finally reached a patio where chairs were set up. Atsushi sat in one as Akashi sat in the one beside him, Tetsu next to him. Atsushi wasn't big on parties and was sure to get annoyed quickly with this one.
"Does anyone want a drink?" Taiga shouted over the loud music.
"I'll take a beer," Atsushi shouted back, continuing to eat his chips.
"I'm surprised," Akashi spoke up as Taiga walked off to grab a few beers for the guys. Atsushi shrugged his shoulders scanning his eyes over the large crowd on the makeshift dance floor. Taiga came back with the beers, handed one to Atsushi who easily opened it and took a sip of the bitter beer, the taste he grew accustomed to after the past 3 years in college and stressful study nights and tests. Beer was his go to drink at his local bars with a few close classmates. Sipping the beer slowly his eyes kept scanning the party until his whole body froze over. Choking on his beer he sat up quickly with wide eyes as he watched a figure emerge from the dance floor to the bar area. Her curly bouncy hair framing her light tanned face. She stood at least 5'3 with curvy hips and a small busty chest. Her shorts hugged her thighs nicely as she walked with a smile plastered on her face. Atsushi was frozen in awe as he watched his childhood crush get dragged on the dance floor by another girl.
"Oi! Earth to Atsushi!" Daiki was waving his hand in front of Atsushi's face.
"Hm?" Atsushi asked in confusion as he looked at his friends who were all staring at him.
"You zoned out for like three minutes," Kise said worriedly.
"Oh," Atsushi wasn't paying much attention as he searched for her again, finally landing on her in the middle of the dance floor swaying her hips to a catchy tune. For the first time Atsushi wasn't thinking of food or anything else for that matter, he was only focused on her, Kana.
