Accustoming to changes

Tignari P.O.V:

I lay on my bed face down onto the soft pillow my long hair framing my face. I hear the sound of my alarm go off the sound getting louder and louder by each passing moment. I groan and sit up on my bed grabbing my phone shutting the alarm. I let out a small yawn and stretch out on my bed. I stare up at my ceiling watching my dream catcher slowly spin. I carefully examine the small crystals that dangle off of it, the light shining through them causing small rainbows to appear on my pale walls. I let out a sigh and sit up on my bed. Why did day time have to come so soon. I havent been too excited these past couple days, i had moved away from my home town into the city of teyvat. This change of environment hasn't been easy on me or my ears. I stare at my phone screen, 6:45 am. I was hoping to get more sleep in before having to go to school but i couldnt seem to go back to sleep. I get off my bed head to the bathroom and take a bath. The only good thing about the city is the bathtubs being submerged in warm water has never been so relaxing. I stare at the water not wanting to get out i watch my long hair float in the water. I missed my first couple days of school and called in sick i havent been so unsure about going to school in so long. I missed my friends i miss my old life i just want to go home. I submerged my head in the water my ears folded down, this sucks. My parents weren't going to agree to let me stay home this time so it was useless to even try and ask so I got out of the bath and began to dry myself off. I find myself staring at myself in the mirror i lift up a portion of my hair its a lot longer than i remember up to my chest. I sigh and head out of the bathroom and i change into some black pants a white button up and a sweater vest. I take another look at myself in the mirror and find myself admiring how i look. Heh not bad could use a haircut tho i laugh at myself as I grab my bag and head downstairs. I call out for my mom but find a note instead.

"Sorry sweetie i wont be able to walk you to school today me and your father are heading to the storage unit so we can get the rest of the stuff to move in. Ill pick you up from school i promise you. I love you" -from mom

I felt a little disappointment but also a sense of relief knowing i can go to school at my own pace. I grab an apple from the table in my kitchen and head out. I slowly make my way to school overthinking every possiblity. Stop overthinking tighnari thats just going to fuck you up just go in there and just get it over with i must've been giving myself a long ass peptalk because before i knew it i was in front of the school gate. Why did we have to live so close to you, you stupid building. I hesitantly start walking in, there are a lot more people than I was imagining and a lot more noisy too. I close my eyes and hold my ears down trying to reduce the amount of noise when i accidentally bump into someone.
I fall over and land on my tail. That's gonna hurt in the morning. I look up and see a white haired boy with crimson eyes looking down at me.
"Im sorry i wasnt looking where i was going!" Embarrassed i get up and quickly leave. IDIOT YOU JUST GOT HERE AND YOU ALREADY MADE A FOOL OF YOURSELF IN FRONT OF PEOPLE!!! Hopefully i wont see him again-

I walk around campus looking for my class. Room 4 room 4 aha! There it is i enter the room its completely empty. Great im the first one here i look at the table and see a seating chart all the seats are full i look for my name and spot it, its in the back of the class next to a window nobody wanted ro sit there because of the cold huh i take a seat and pull out my books and read. As i sit there i hear the bell ring and students begin to flood into the classroom my moment of peace was over. I look around at each individual student i saw a short blonde boy walking in with another boy with raven hair just a few inches taller than him. I also see a purple haired girl walk in with a blue haired girl with horns fallowing close behind and behind them i see.. i try getting a better look and its him its him its the boy i bumped into this morning!! Just my luck. He hadnt seem to notice me yet he took a seat which was just one row ahead of me and 2 tables apart. Can this day get any worse.

Time passes by and the second bell rings a tall dark haired man with glasses walks into the classroom.

"Alright students settle down ill be taking attendance"

I listen to him calling out each persons name until he gets to the white haired boy

"Cyno Mahamatra?"
"Here" he replies.
So his names cyno huh..

He gets to the end of the list of names and finally calls out mine.

"Tignari al?"
I reply with a raise of my hand
"Ah so you're the new transfer student correct? I presume you're the one whos been absent these past couple days?"
I give him a small nod feeling everyone's eyes on me.
"Well i welcome you to class mr.tighnari im Mr.zhongli your homeroom teachers its nice to finally meet all of my students." He gives me a warm welcoming smile which made me smile a little too. At least the teacher's nice. I feel everyone's eyes turn away from me and back to Mr zhongli i still felt a pair of eyes on me so i look over and see cyno still looking at me he gives me a small smile and waves. Amused i smile and wave back at him. School might not be so bad after all.
