Cyno POV:

These past 2 days have been amazing, getting to spend 2 whole days with the boy of my dreams- i mean tighnari- i cant help but be really happy. Unfortunately this happiness was cut short because of a phone call.

[An hour before]

Tighnari's mom left a bit early today so i was left in charge of breakfast which i dont mind at all. I prepare some pancakes and decorated it with a side of candied ajilenakh nuts. Hopefully he'll like this.

"Goodmorning nari," i walk into the room with a tray of breakfast, "how're your legs feeli-," i turn around and face myself with a shirtless tighnari.

We both go completely red. "IMA UHHH JUST LEAVE THIS HERE! BYE!," I quickly rush out of the room my heart racing like crazy. I clench my chest trying to stop my heart from beating so much. Seeing his flawless pale body exposed with the warm light of the morning sun, he looked beautiful- i take a deep breath and turn towards the door. "Tighnari?, Are you um done changing?," I knock.

"Im done, y-you can come in now."

"O-okay," I slowly open the door and see tighnari wearing my hoodie again.

I smirk, "heh you really like my hoodie huh?," I say as i sit beside him.

"Yea- heh-," he blushes which i honestly found adorable.

I chuckle, "anyways, before that little fiasco i asked how your legs were feeling."

"They feel a lot better, i can walk properly now so i can finally say goodbye to that stupid wheel chair," he says laying on the bed.

"Well im glad you're doing better," i say rubbing his ears.

"Now that you're feeling better i can finally get back to punishing you~," i say moving closer to him.

"Oh no you dont!," Tighnari tackles me onto the bed pinning me down, "im the judge now~," he says with a small smirk.

Blushing i just smirk back, "i wont let you win that easily nari~," i turn us around causing tighnari to be bellow me. instead of tickling him however we find ourselves staring at eachother our eyes almost closed. We're so close...i lean in i notice tighnari begin to close his eyes, i feel our lips brush up against each other but i hesitate and pull away.

"I-im sorry...ehem...i uh...need to use the restroom...," I get off of tighnari and go into the bathroom.

You're an idiot, you almost kissed him! You were this close to fucking kissing him! But...I wanted to...i sigh as i look at myself in the mirror as i wash my face. Calm down cyno.... hopefully...the tensions gone...

I take a deep breath and right as im about to sooth myself i get a call. I groan it better not be nilou i swear to god... I pick up my phone, its my mom.
"Must be her daily check in" i say in amusement chuckling to myself.

I answer the call and hold up my phone to my ear, "hey mom how's it go-"

I hear cries...
Why...is she crying...

"M-mom? Whats going on...why are yo-,"

"C-cyno...i-its...its...," She struggles to speak between her cries.

"Calm down mom what happened," i try reassuring her getting stressed by the second.

"Cyno....its your father...he.... he's...."

My heart drops. My lip begins to quiver, i stand there in disbelief as i hang up the phone......

"He's dead...," I say to myself with a strain in my voice feeling a tear roll down my cheek.
