Cyno POV:

I haven't slept all night i believe i past out for about an hour or so before waking up again. I lay on my bed looking up at the earring dangling from my hand. I wonder if he noticed it missing. He might have been looking for it and my dumbass knowing well who has it. He might think i stole it i mean i could've given it to him yesterday but unfortunately him being pretty was becoming a problem in the operation "give back the earring". I groan dropping my arm onto my chest. Why am i still hesitating? Wait real question why am i thinking this way?! I have a girlfriend for fucks sakes i cant think a guy is pretty?! I mean he is attractive yes but pretty?!? I feel my face heat up slowly. Fuuuuuuck. I get off my bed putting the earring in my pocket i should really be heading to school right now- i look at the clock and notice its 10 minutes after the bell. FUCK i yell as i rush downstairs and out the door. Was i really that distracted that i didnt notice the time?!?!? Whats up with me today!?

I run into the building getting yelled at by a couple teachers along the way. I slide open the door and everyone turns their heads to me, except tighnari whos too busy writing to notice my entrance.

"You're late mr Mahamatra" Mr zhongli says taking his glasses off.
"I apologies for arriving late Mr zhongli i promise it wont happen again i swear."
He sighs, gives me a nod and continues writing on the board.
I hang my bag on the side of my desk and take a seat i glance at tighnari one more time before going back to paying attention to mr zhongli.

Tighnari POV:

Did he just look over at me or am i seeing things. Honestly does he have a staring problem or something he's been looking at me a lot since i got here. No matter i really got to pay attention, i have honestly no idea what we're doing or where to start! Cant blame anyone but myself in this situation though. I sit through the rest of Mr zhongli's lesson, he really loves going into detail about history not that i mind though kills time like no tomarrow. The bell eventually rings and i begin to put my stuff away. I was about to head out when i see someone standing in front of me.
"Uh can i help you?"

Cyno POV:

"Uhhhhh i uh hi?"
WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU IDIOT DID YOU EVEN HAVE A PLAN FOR THIS?! DONT JUST GO UP TO HIM THIS IS THE STUPIDEST SHIT YOU'VE DONE THIS YEAR! ok ok stay cool, stay coool just act natural.
"Sorry for bothering you um i just wanted to say hi! Hehe...."
"Uhhh ok??" He tilts his head a little raising his eyebrows. God i can tell im making him uncomfortable great job cyno great people skills.
"Im cyno its nice to meet you"
"Yea i know heh your the one who came im late" he rests a hand in his hip giving me a cheeky smile.
"Yeaaa uh I normally dont do that believe me-"
He lets out a small laugh which makes my heart skip a beat, did he just- laugh??
"Well mr i don't normally come late, ima go grab some lunch ill cya round"
He was about to leave the room when i grab his sleeve.
"W-wait!"
He stops and looks down at my hand which causes me to let go.
"S-sorry- heh um i just wanted to give you this before you leave" i pull out his earring from my pocket and his eyes widen slightly.
"Y-you found my earring?"
"Well i didnt exactly find it-"
"You took it?" He crossed his arms looking unamused.
"No! Im not a thief i swear, i picked it up after you bumped into me the other day and i wanted to return it to you." I grab his hand and place the earring on his palm. He looked down at it for a bit and lets out a small giggle.
"Is that why you've been staring at me so much? Because of my earring?" He laughs a bit.
I felt my cheeks heat up, was I really staring at him that much??? Well the earring wasnt the only reason why i starred at him-
"Yea hehe- it was because of the earring..- heh-"
He lowers his head and puts his earring back on.
"Anyways thank you, for giving me back my earring i appreciate it" he gives me a tender smile, in the suns warm light his face almost seems to glow. His smile is lovely...he is lovely...
I smile back at him, "you're welcome tighnari"
"Well ima head down to the Library to study a bit so ill cya round?"
"Yea! For sure" i reply with obvious excitement.
"Ill cya after break than cyno, and also make sure not to stare at people anymore ok? Dont want cha lookin like a weirdo by staring at others." He leans in a little tapping my nose.
"Alright fine i won't stare anymore i swear."
"Ill hold you on your word cya cyno"
"Cya.."
I watch as he leaves the classroom leaving me alone. Holy shit did i just talk to him?! I just had a full ass conversation with the prettiest guy I've ever seen in my life. I fell onto my chair smiling to myself. My heart was racing ive never felt anything like this before not even with nilo- NILOU SHIT I ALMOST FORGOT ABOUT HER! i was so caught up on tighnari that I completely forgot about nilou! I rush downstairs practically running and i start frantically searching for her. I eventually found her eating lunch at an empty table dehya and candace are going to kill me... I slowly approach the table picking my next words wisely.
"Um hey nilou"
She looks up from her food, " i honestly thought you were skipping class.. again."
"I wasn't i swear i just got caught up with something that's all. This wont happen again i promise."
"If you say so cyno, i trust u wont hide anything from me." She smiles.
Those words made me feel so much guilt. Fuck why cant things be simple i don't want to have any regrets. But with tighnari being around im going to have problems.
