Callie was excited. It was her favorite part of her work from home days when Jada finished up her stream mid afternoon before making her way to Callie's office.
Callie looked up with a smile as the door to her home office creaked open and in came her favorite person in the entire world.
"Hey baby," Jada said, matching Callie's smile. In a few quick strides she was around the desk and kissing her wife.
"This is my favorite part of the day," Callie replied as she took Jada's lips in hers for another kiss. "My favorite part of the day that involves us getting out of bed."
Jada laughed and found herself pulling up the other office chair that was in the room for this exact reason, and sat directly next to her wife. Resting her head on Callie's shoulder and allowing herself to relax, Jada took a deep breath and was relieved that she was finally finished entertaining for the day.
"How'd your stream go?" Callie asked, removing a hand from her keyboard and placing it on Jada's thigh.
"I enjoyed Modern Warfare II a lot more than I thought I would," she explained. "I'm not usually the biggest fan of games I play for sponsored streams, but this is the best COD I've played in a while."
"Yeah you seemed like you were enjoying yourself," Callie admitted. "Showing all those grown ass men how it's done."
Since the newest installment of Call of Duty had proximity chat, Callie found herself very interested in hearing the players when they were eliminated by her wife. And Jada's replies made it even better. When Callie was working in her office, she always used her iPad to watch and listen to Jada's streams while she worked. She was easily distracted today by the way her wife trolled some upset players.
"It was a lot of fun, I do have to say," Jada admitted. "Probably one of my most entertaining streams in a while."
Callie laughed. "I would be sitting here and I'd hear you yell through the wall and a few seconds later it would come through the stream and it was hilarious."
When working from home when Jada was also working, Callie opted to close her office door. Jada could get quite loud when gaming and she had quite the vocabulary of expletives. It would always make Callie laugh whenever she heard Jada yelling, since it was usually something funny, before hearing it again when it played on stream.
"Yeah," Jada said with a smug smile, her face beginning to get slightly red as well. "Call of Duty just hits different."
"You're going to have to tone it down a little bit once we bring Sof home tomorrow," Callie teased.
"Oh I know," Jada replied, her smile stretching even wider. "That's why I turned down a sponsored Warzone stream next week."
The couple laughed together. Jada then said, "I ended a little earlier today because I was wondering if you want to go visit Sofia one last time before we bring her home tomorrow? Then maybe get dinner and enjoy our last child free night?"
Callie raised an eyebrow. "And what does this final child free night entail?"
Jada did her giddy smile and shrug, what she always did when either teasing Callie about sex, or indirectly talking about sex.
