I walked away Bong Cha-yon, Hak Yoon-seo, Jo Young-hee, and the triplets Jang Nao-mi, Jang Yu-seo, and Jang Na-yeon following close behind.
As we walked I noticed something out of the corner of my eye it was Choi Tae-yong, Yoon Kye-seo, Yoon Ah-kwon, Chenul Joo-min, her big sister Chenul Cha-nie, and a group of other students.
Chenul Joo-min caught my eye her gaze meeting mine 'Sset... Nal boji ma,' she nodded at me with a normal face.
I handed Jo Young-hee my borrowed AR:M4 and walked towards an American student his face.
Contorted in a grimace I tapped his shoulder and he turned to face me his eyes narrowed in anger.
"What do you want, bit... Oh, you again, huh?" He snarled, his voice dripping with disdain.
"Well, I'll teach you some good manners that you'll be lucid," I said, my voice calm but firm.
Chenul Cha-nie stepped forward her voice laced with concern.
"Excuse me, what if we deal with our argument..." Before she could finish her sentence he cut her off.
"Shut up, bitch. I'm not talking to you," he spat, his eyes filled with fury.
The tension in the air crackled like static electricity this was a fight I couldn't avoid I grabbed his rover gun the cold metal biting into my palm I threw it a blur of motion.
The gun clattering against the wall I kicked his right knee a sharp forceful blow that sent him sprawling to the ground he roared in pain his face contorting in agony I didn't hesitate.
I punched him in the stomach a hard precise strike that knocked the wind out of him he doubled over gasping for breath I twisted his arms forcing him to his back his face contorted.
In a mask of pain I twisted his head a sickening crack echoing through the room silencing his taunts forever the hallway fell silent the only sound the ragged breaths of the others.
Chenul Cha-nie her eyes wide with horror gasped.
"OMG!!! It's so violence I've ever seen" all of them turned to look at her, their faces a mixture of shock and disbelief.
She made eye contact with Chenul Joo-min her eyes wide with confusion 'What did I say wrong?' Their shocked expressions confirmed it.
They had never seen me like this never witnessed the raw fury that simmered beneath my calm exterior.
"Gaja, sigani eolma eopseo" I said, my voice cold and sharp.
I started to walk away but a sudden noise stopped me in my tracks it was a low guttural growl followed by the thunderous pounding of feet.
"Jenjang, nongdam-iji?" I muttered, my heart sinking.
Bong Cha-yon ran towards me her face pale with fear.
"Daejang... Ani, Min Cha-young" I turned to her, my expression grim.
She handed me back my borrowed AR: M4.
"Modeudeul, jigeum dangjang ttwieo!" I commanded, my voice ringing with authority.
They nodded, their eyes wide with fear.
"Ppalli, ppalli, ppalli, jigeum!" Cha Soo-yoon shouted, her voice echoing through the room.
The zombies were closing in their numbers growing with each passing second.
"Choegeune malhaetdeon geotcheoreom, nega hakgyo beoseul-eul chaegimj-eo," I said, my gaze fixed on Choi Tae-jin.
He gave me a smile a bitter twisted smile that spoke of his own fear and frustration I stopped running a sudden memory.
Flashing through my mind my cousin Heong Ji-yeon knew the way out I turned around my heart pounding in my chest.
"Heong Ji-yeon!" I called out, my voice echoing through the hallway.
But she wasn't there I turned to Hak Yoon-seo my gaze pleading.
"Mujeong-gi jom billeul su isseo?" She nodded, her face unreadable, and handed me the device.
"Wae geurae? Gapjagi ttineun geol meomchweotseo, eung?" Choi Tae-jin asked, his voice laced with concern.
I turned to him my face a mask of fury.
"Nug-a nae sachun Heo Ji-yeon-eul delyeowa jul su isseo? Eoseo, jigeum daedaphae," I barked into the walkie-talkie.
"Arasseo, jigeum gago isseo," a voice crackled back.
I handed Hak Yoon-seo her walkie-talkie my heart pounding with a mixture of hope and dread.
A few seconds later later on Heong Ji-yeon ran towards me.
"Ijjok-euro hakgyo beoseuro ga," she said, her voice trembling.
But as we reached the bus I saw it the school bus was surrounded by zombies.
"Uri bang-hyang-euro oneun jombi-neun modeu jug-yeo," I said, my voice firm, my eyes blazing with determination.
We started firing a relentless barrage of bullets tearing through the flesh of the undead my cousin stayed close behind me.
Her fear palpable there was no time to linger I saw four school buses in the distance.
I quickly used sign language to signal my plan 'Hakgyo beoseuga ne dae itgo, uri-neun modeu nan-wo tal geo-ya' they ran towards the buses their movements a blur of frantic energy.
"Geunde majimag-eun nuguya?" I asked, my voice echoing through the chaos.
Hwang Yoon-gi, Choi Kim-suk, and Choi Tae-jin raised their hands, their faces grim.
"Geunde majimag-eun nuguya?" Park Jin-hun asked, his voice laced with uncertainty.
I smirked my eyes gleaming with a cold calculating glint.
"Naega 1beon beoseu unjeonhalge. Hwang Yoon-gi, 2beon beoseu. Choi Kim-suk, 3beon beoseu. Geurigo Choi Tae-jin, 4beon beoseu" they stared at me, disbelief etched on their faces.
I entered School Bus 1 the engine roaring to life as I waited for them to fill the bus I caught.
A glimpse of something in the left side mirror my heart skipped a beat a nuclear bomb.
"Jigeum da ch-asseo?" I asked, my voice laced with urgency.
They nodded, their faces pale with fear.
I pressed the button to close the door but Bong Cha-yon stopped me.
"Daejang... Ani, Min Cha-young," she said, her voice trembling.
She handed me her walkie-talkie.
"Hwang Yoon-gi, 2beon beoseu, da ch-asseo?" I asked, my voice tight with tension.
"Ne, banjangnim," came the reply I heard the engine roar to life and the door slam shut.
"Choi Kim-suk, 3beon beoseu, da ch-asseo?" There was a pause then a flurry of gunfire and a growl.
"Ne, Min Cha-young," he said, his voice barely audible.
"Choi Tae-jin, 4beon beoseu, da ch-asseo?" There was no response after a few seconds later on.
"Ani, Min Cha-young, banman ch-asseo," he said, his voice strained.
That's okay at least you tried your best suddenly I heard a cry a shout "Jigeum dangjang sidong kyeo, baboya!" I handed Bong Cha-yon her walkie-talkie and she took her seat.
Jo Young-hee her face slick with sweat gave me a nervous smile.
I turned the wheel slowly maneuvering the bus to the left the gate was locked I stopped the bus followed by the others.
"Geogi-seo museun iriya, Min Cha-young?" A voice crackled over the walkie-talkie.
I took deep breathe while I tried to relax myself before answer the question.
