It had been a day since Tobias had kissed Tia. She still was not sure what to think of the whole situation. She did not regret it, but there were many mixed feelings.

Tia was just in bed. She felt her phone buzz and looked at the notification to see it was a call from Hannah.

Tia picked up the phone.

Tia: Hello

Hannah: Hey! How are you?

Tia: I'm good just thinking.

Hannah: Oh yeah, what is on your mind?

Tia thought for a moment, should she tell Hannah about what had happened between her and Tobias? How would Hannah react? Tia knew Hannah would most likely be happy for the duo but not even Tia herself did not even know what was going on between her and Tobias. Who just kisses their friend? Even then, Tia did not know if Tobias considered them friends! They used to hate each other. Tia wasn't sure how she and Tobias went from not getting along at all to a sudden kiss.

Hannah: You still there?

Tia realised she had zoned out of the conversation so she quickly regained herself.

Tia: Yeah sorry I'm here. I have just been thinking about my math assignment that was due.

That wasn't exactly a lie, she could not stop thinking about what had happened whilst she was working on the math project.

Hannah: Ah all good, it sounds like you need to work on your math haha. I'll let you get going! Bye bestie love you!

Hannah said ending the call.

Tia thought back to the math project she was doing at Tobias' house, and she realised she had forgotten her pencil case at his house. She needed to go and get her pencil case.

Tia got dressed, she put on a pair of black pants and wore a black baggy t-shirt. She went over to her mirror and put her hair nicely in place, she applied some lip oil and mascara before heading out the door.

As soon as Tia began the walk to Tobias' house, what she was doing started to set in. She was walking to Tobias' house to pick up a pencil case. She stopped, walking to the nearest bench and taking a seat. As soon as she sat down she began to think through her actions.

Why was she going to his house over a pencil case?

Was this an excuse just to see him?

Would he be annoyed if Tia showed up unannounced over such a silly thing?

Why did she dress herself up before leaving for his house?

And, why was she overthinking him so much?

Tia knew for a fact she was overthinking but she raised good points. She was not sure how Tobias would react to her showing up unannounced. Would he refuse to let her inside?

Tia decided she had enough of dwelling in her thoughts, but she did still feel awkward.

As a way to conquer her worries about Tobias not wanting her to collect her pencil case, she sent him a text message.

Tia: Hey Tobias, it's Tia. Is it all good if I come over to pick up my pencil case I forgot it yesterday lol.

After a couple of minutes Tia got a response from Tobias.

Tobias: Yeah whatever, I'll be home all day so come whenever.

Tia sensed that he was not exactly enthusiastic about the idea of her stopping by, but he did not say no. So Tia strolled along to Tobias' house. The walk there is not ideal but it is what it is.

After walking for around twenty minutes, Tia arrived at his door step. Without realising it, she tidied herself up before knocking on his door. A couple minutes after knocking, someone opened the door. It was Tobias' mother.

"Hey love, how are you?" She greeted to Tia.

"I'm good Mrs. Cameron! How are you?"

"Yeah I'm well, if you are looking for Tobias, he is in his room."

"Thank you." Tia responded as she made her way through the Cameron household and into Tobias' bedroom.

As Tia walked into his bedroom, she noticed Tobias was sitting at the end of his bed - reading a magazine about farming essentials.

"Hey" Tia said addressing Tobias

"Oh hey." Tobias replied, "How are you?"

"Alright, I forgot my pencil case last night, I was hoping to get it back."

After Tia spoke that sentence, Tobias stood up and made his way over to the desk in the corner of his room. He picked up the pine green pencil case that was sitting on the table and walked over to Tia, but instead of handing it to her - he stood there. He looked down into her hazel eyes and teased, "You sure you came over for the pencil case and not some other reason?" as he said so, a smirk formed across his face.

Tia was flustered by his taunting, she felt herself going slightly red in the cheeks but did not want to lead this on to Tobias.

"What's wrong with just getting my pencil case?" She responded.

"Oh, nothing. If that is really all you came here for then I guess I'll just hand this to you and send you on your way once again, but you don't want to do that do you?"

"Oh shut up, Tobias!" Tia said rolling her eyes and making her way over to Tobias' bed and sitting down.
