It was another day at Kamila College and it was recess. Tia was hanging out with Hannah and Moe nearby the canteen. Moe was sitting on the bench with Tia, meanwhile Hannah remained standing - facing the duo who were sitting on the bench.

"I still can't believe it's almost the end of year!" Hannah said

"Right! This year went by too fast..." Moe persisted shaking his head, "I do not allow that!"

The girls giggled at Moe's sassy response before continuing their conversation.

"Let's talk end of year party!" Tia exclaimed.

"I will allow it." Moe said in one of the most monotone voices Tia had ever heard.

"Ok." Tia said.

"Ok." Hannah said, mocking Tia's dry response.

As much as Moe wanted to laugh, he also wanted to keep up his neutral demeanour so he remained quiet. Although Hannah chuckled at her mockery of Tia.

"Obviously Moe needs a date!" Hannah insisted, trying to comply a response from Moe.

"Me?! Nah man I don't allow it! If anything, Tia will have a date."

"Why would I have one?"

Moe was quiet for a moment, as if he was debating with himself on whether what he was about to say would be deemed appropriate by the girls.
"What about Tobias, huh?"

Tia couldn't help but have a rush of nerves flow through her stomach when Moe retorted with that statement. She realised that people had began to notice her close bond with Tobias, as much as she hated the idea of a potential romance- she also didn't hate it? Tia did not let the thoughts consume her and instead made a comeback to Moe.
"In his dreams!!"

"Mhm, tell me that when you guys go to the celebration together..." Moe said as he made a sassy eye roll and walked off to go to the canteen.

"I'm so sick of him!" Tia insisted to Hannah whilst shaking her head in disagreement.
"It's all in good fun." Hannah replied, Tia knew Hannah found the jokes funny, but wished she would give it up for her sake. Tobias wasn't a bad guy but Tia was getting sick of being constantly romanticised toward him!

School felt like it was dragging on for ages as Tia sat in agriculture. Tobias was in his usual spot and was making the occasional comedic comment to the class every now and then. Most people would chuckle but Tia remained silent. She noticed Tobias turned his attention to the class rather than in her direction, she was slightly offended at his slight disassociation from her. Why wasn't he directing his attention towards her? Tia had assumed that she had gotten closer with Tobias. Yes, he had sat with her before in class. Yes, he had invited her to his house. Yes, they had been working on a math project together. So why was it bothering her so much that he was not paying attention to her? It shouldn't matter.

Once class ended, Tia slowly made her way out of the classroom only to be stopped by Tobias. He was swiftly walking behind her and reached out his hand onto her wrist, effortlessly spinning her around.
"Hello to you to." Tia said rolling her eyes.

"Do you want to come over today?" Tobias asked.

Tia was taken aback. She was sure he had a reason but she didn't know what.

"What for?" Tia interrogated.
"I don't know." Tobias replied, for a short amount of time, the tension between the duo felt stiff, it wasn't awkward but it was close to it. Tobias was unsure why Tia was taking awhile to reply. Meanwhile, Tia was confused about why Tobias wound invite her over without a purpose.

"If you're busy it's cool we don't have to hang out." Tobias shrugged.
"I don't know, you don't ever invite me over for no reason." Tia replied.
"Is it a problem that I did?"
"No, but it's not like you."
The pair had a hardened gaze as they looked into each others eyes, as if evaluating one another. Tobias thinking about why Tia was so adamant about needing a reason to go to his house. While she was confused about that said reason.

"If you really insist on having a reason." Tobias said breaking silence, "then how about to watch that new TV show that came out, think it's called Thursday?"

"I heard that show is good." Tia replied.
"Ok, yes or no?" Tobias was starting to get impatient at Tia's indecisive attitude.
"Sure, why not." Tia replied and Tobias nodded his head before walking off to find his other friends.

"Guess that could have gone worse." Tia muttered to herself once she knew she was alone. She continued on with her day until it was the end of the day. She made her way to the front of the school to meet Tobias, and together they made their way to his house.
