ADDISON

After the wedding ceremony,Mr. Hargreaves, Daphne, Simon, Benedict, myself and the Viscount we all presented at a different registry signing. We signed a document that officially made me Addison Hannah-Bridgerton. After the signing registry, we all left and it was almost time for our honeymoon. Anthony and I had to go on a business trip, and also to see the estate Mr. Hargreaves had given us, so that is where we are going to honeymoon. 

I had already packed my bags before today, so the only thing I had to stop back home and do was pick them up. When we arrived at Lady Danbury's residence, I was filled with many different emotions. I was sad, and heartbroken because this is where it all began. 

"Are you coming?" I asked Anthony 

"Of course my darling" He smiled exiting the carriage "My love" he said extending his hand to help me out of the carriage. I took his hand graciously as he held mine securely.

As soon as we were out of earshot, I looked across to my husband and said "I can handle myself, my lord" 

"I know you can, just know that I'm here. You don't have to be so independent all the time" He said as we approached the door 

"Anthony-" I began as the door opened 

"Lady Bridgerton, Lord Bridgerton" Beams Katherine "You're here for your things I assume?" She asks

"Just the few bags I have packed with my necessities, somebody will come to pick up my things in a few days and take them back to my new home" I smiled at her 

"I am so happy for you both, treat my dear sister right on the honeymoon or I shall cut you" She lowly threatened Anthony making me chuckle

"I think it would be your 'sister' here, who would hurt me" He answered her 

"Even if she doesn't know it yet, she's inlove with you" Katherine assured him 

"I shall fetch my bags" I smiled 

"The Jeeves shall fetch them for you, I mean you are carrying a being" She said to me 

"Alright" I smiled "I thank you so much, for everything. I promised you that I will bring you along with me wherever I go, but I need you to stay here for a next year or two" I said hugging her 

"Wh-what?!? My Lady, I assure you, I will be not of trouble or a burden to you" She frowned 

"I know you will not, I have a few matters to attend to back home, even the Viscount here is gonna miss me" I told her 

"B-But you and the wee bairin" She shook her head profusely causing a change in her accent, which led to her slapping her hand over her mouth "I-I uh"

"It's alright Katherine, we all have secrets and yours is safe with us. I promise you, in two years you'll be a free woman" I told her 

"I don't want freedom Addison, I just want to ensure your safety because I indeed take you as family" She said 

"For as long as I am alive, I'll ensure she's alright. You have my word" Anthony says to her as the Jeeves comes with my bags, he walks right out the door and heads for the carriage. 

"I shall not hold you any longer, I think you should bid goodbyes to Lady Danbury" Says Katherine and I can tell she wants to cry

With a final hug, she disappeared and I went in search of Lady Danbury. I found her in her study sitting behind her desk with a paper in her hands. I walked towards her, as she had yet to lift her head from the paper. 

"We never really did have that talk did we? About your true identity" She says without looking up 

"Is it that time?" I asked lowly, hearing Anthony exit the room

"I always knew you were different. It's not just overseas" She said 

"I'm not from this time" I told her 

"I knew that already, but you're far different from the rest of the travelers. They normally stand out for a while, but you dearest, you really adapt well, you're elegant, you attract lookers in the right way, and I must say you can handle yourself under any circumstance. I am proud of you. I wish you nothing but the absolute best in your past life and future life, in which ever era you exist" She says now looking up at me "I love you like a mother does her daughter, and I know your birth mother would be proud of you as well. I need not to send you off with a few love riddles, because you're a very smart young lady"

"I thank you for everything you've done for me" I said to her "Please look after Katherine for me" 

"When you return home to your time, you have a decision to make, you know what will happen progressing forward in life, the decision is yours. You now have a life here, and there but please dearest, choose wisely. Your husband loves you and needs you. Your family back home the same thing" She says giving me a look

"How do you know?" I ask

"I heard you praying a few nights ago, I stood at the door only because you were crying. I wanted to ensure that you were alright." She said 

"I'm not mad at you" I said lowly "I am happy that you chose not to judge me, you accepted me with all of my flaws and you shaped me into something new" I told her 

"You always have a home here, the Viscount as well." She smiled standing up "Hug me before you leave, but when you return from your honeymoon, I hope to see you" She said as we embraced 

"I love you" I said shedding a tear 

"I love you as well" She said rubbing my back "Everything is going to be alright"

"I will see you upon my return, but please take care of Katherine until I get back" I told her 

"I will" She confirmed "Lord Bridgerton" She calls out loud enough to be heard through the door

"Lady Danbury" He says opening the door

"Enjoy the honeymoon with your wife, she's a tenacious one, especially about you" She said to him

Smiling from ear to ear, Anthony took my hand and with a final goodbye, we left. When I got back downstairs, Kathrine was nowhere in sight. I felt a bit sad about that but I don't want to be selfish. No I am not leaving for the 21 century for the next few months, but I'm trying to wean myself off of her. I depend on her for everything and I cannot take her back home with me so it's best she stays here until I return. 

"Are you ready, my love?" Asks Anthony 

"I'm ready my husband" I smiled up at him

WE ARE OFF TO OUR HONEYMOON ;-)
