It would never be my intention to hurt the Viscount on purpose. I know in order to help him understand where I'm coming from though I must be completely honest.I have been getting weird dreams, and I can feel in my bones something back home is not right. The thing is, I am now carrying this man's child and after marriage, I will be his as much as he is mine, but the part of me that belongs to another world is grieving deeply. So the truth is the only thing I have right now.

"You wait merely days before we're to be wedded to say this?" He asks softly 

"Anthony, I-I'm sorry" I mumbled 

"Is it because of him? Sir Thomas?" He spat

"What?!? No!" I said almost instantly 

"So why THE FUCK are you standing here telling me you don't love me?" He questioned making me jump a little 

"I don't belong here Anthony" I shook my head 

"No, you can't do that, you do not have the right to stand here and use that as an excuse Addison" He said walking over to me which resulted in me stepping back 

"Anthony, I want to go home. I need to go home, t-to see my grandpa, he's dying and I can feel it" I whimpered 

"So you would rather return home, and fall apart once more in a world where I cannot and do not exist, rather than make life here with me?" He asked "I cannot live knowing you're somewhere else dying because you're world there is falling apart" He says looking me directly in the eyes 

"Anthony, if I could just see him once more, just once more, I would be able to accept being here. I do not know if he has days, weeks, or months left" I cried 

"Well if that's what it takes, I ask you to promise me one thing my dear Addison" He said 

"Anything" I said closing my eyes not even knowing what he was about to say, 

"Promise me, no matter what Addison Hannah... you'll return to me" He said and I could tell he was close to tears

"Anthony, what if I cannot" I shook my head 

"You do not understand, I will not be able to move on from this, not from you" He said holding me tighter "Please don't leave me as well" He cried out

"As well?" I questioned 

"My father left, I was forced into a role I cared not to be in.Only difference between you both is he did not choose to leave, he died in my arms, but you are willingly leaving my world to go back to a reality to which I cannot exist. So please I beg you Beloved, return to me" He said

"Anthony, you know that there is a possibility I can be gone for years" I said lowly 

"Promise me even if you're seventy and two you'll return to my side" 

"Why are you still willing to go through all of this with me Anthony?" I frowned which resulted in him creating space between us

"My Lord" I said attempting to approach him

"Addison, please don't" He said moving away from me

"What's wrong is you want to run off without even trying with me" He scoffed
