I was on my way to the greenhouse Neville had told me to meet up with him. I don't know why but I was nervous, very nervous actually.

I reached the place to see that Neville was already there, taking care of the plants "Bella!" He said as his eyes met mine, I smiled and walked in

"I'm sorry for Ginny's reaction today, she's just very worried about her brother Ron and Harry" Neville said as he was planting some type of flower

"I get it" I replied "You know, I really admire your bravery" I said as I was walking around slowly admiring the plants "you do?"

"Of course! What their doing to the poor first years is completely outrageous" I said shaking my head slowly as Neville began to speak

"I couldn't just see them get tortured, I had to stop it"

His expression turned into a little sadness "Neville are you okay?" He nodded "oh yes yes, it's just"

"Hm?"

"M-my parents.." he stuttered "got tortured with the cruciarturs curse by Bellatrix Lestrange, I don't even think they know who I am anymore, their like vegetables" he said looking even more upset

"Wow, I am so sorry Neville" I said pulling him into my embrace and patting his back "I can't believe that has happened to you, nobody deserves that"

"Thank you, I needed that" he said pulling away slowly as he kept cutting the plants making their form look much more beautiful

"I'm sorry for thinking that you were a bad person just because your a Slytherin, it was really foolish of me and the others"

"Yeah" I chuckled "it was"

"My experience with Slytherin's hasn't really been the best" Neville said, not looking at me as if he was embarrassed.

I smiled "they aren't really the nicest either, especially my sister"

"Malfoy's the worst" Neville said "Always making fun of me and my clumsiness! I can't help it you know!" He said getting slowly irritated, I shrugged "He isn't really that bad, he's just misunderstood"

"That isn't an excuse to make fun of someone"

"Never said that Longbottom" I smiled "What I'm trying to say is that we both have seen Malfoy from
different points of views-"

"He's different with you" Neville interrupted, I watched him as he continued, confused "he's rude to everyone else but you"

"And plus he's a death eater!" Neville exclaimed, little did he know that I was practically one to, I kept my cool and nodded "I can see why you despise him" I say as I let out a quiet sigh.

We stood in a peaceful silence as Neville was taking care of the plants in the greenhouse, I watched him closely, this was the only thing he didn't mess up while working, maybe he wasn't so anxious when he was here?

I studied him for a while until he broke the silence "you're welcome to the gryffindor common room
whenever you want, you know. If you feel the need to escape from the dungeons" Neville joked

I chuckled "I'll keep that in mind, thank you Neville" the sun was slowly setting and they sky was slowly turning darker as time passed "I'm glad we're friends Bella" Neville smiled

I gave him a short hug "I'm glad you trust me" I replied "it's getting dark, we can't stay up past hours and Mattheo will get worried-"

"Oh right.." Neville said a little disappointed, I smiled innocently "I'll see you tomorrow Neville" I say while walking out of the greenhouse and making my way to the dungeons.

Maybe Gryffindor's weren't so bad after all?

I felt the warmth disappear as I returned to the dungeons, I mumbled the password 'pureblood' to the common room as it slowly opened I could see Mattheo sitting by the main entrance as if he was waiting for someone.

"Where the fuck have you been?!" He exclaimed as he stood up to face me "Mattheo relax I was with some friends" he looked at me suspiciously

"Which friends?"

"Why does that matter?"

"Oh so we have secrets now?" Mattheo replied

"No need to have a tone! As for a matter of fact I was with Neville Longbottom." I replied looking away

Mattheo laughed sarcastically "so we're lying to each other too?" My eyes widened "it's not a lie Mattheo, you should trust me" I say now looking into his cold eyes, I remember this look.

"If you don't believe me give me bloody veritaserum, at least I'm not lying and it will prove that you don't trust me anymore!" I exclaimed, I looked around us to see people starring "what are you looking at?!" I yelled

He sighed "then why were you so hesitant about telling me where you were?" He said walking up closer to me "I don't know, I'm sorry"

"Don't apologise" he said smiling as he planted a soft kiss on my lips "sorry- fuck" we chuckled at my stupidity and we began walking to our dorms, we said our goodbyes and I walked into my dorm room.

"Bella?" I heard a familiar voice as Rain's

"Oh my god Rain!" I said running up to her and pulling her into my embrace "where have you been?"

"We'll ever since Dumbledore died, my parents didn't think it would be safe for me to go back to hogwarts"

"Well it isn't so much safer at the moment either" I said laughing innocently "yes well he's kind of threatening my parents if I don't go here" she said rubbing her neck.

I nod pull her into my embrace again "sorry I didn't tell you before" she said in my arms "no worries"

"I see you and Mattheo Riddle are a thing again" she said in an uneasy tone, I pull away slowly and sit down on my bed "I can't help it, I'm so in love with him" I reply, smiling to myself.

Suddenly a devilish laugh erupts in the room, Pansy
"Oh I'm so in love with him!" Pansy taunts while laughing, I roll my eyes "I did not miss her" Rain whispered.

"Shut up Pansy" I said

"I'm just so so in love, oh Mattheo kiss me! Have my babies!" She taunts "he's probably using you again" Pansy said as she was checking herself out in the mirror while her minions, Astoria and Daphne Greengrass were agreeing with her.

"He never used me Pansy"

"That's not what he told me last night" she said, trying to make me jealous though I knew were he was last night, I began to laugh as I walked up to her "my poor Pansy, why the lies? You know he would never be with someone like you" I laughed trying to intimidate her.

"How would you know?" She replied unfazed

I chuckled "he was with me last night"

"I-"

"Zip it, I've heard enough from you" I said as I took Rain's hand and walked out of the dormitory, as I shook my head in disbelief

"That girl will never change"
