Ok...this has been in my drafts since OCTOBER. That is way too long so I just want to write this the best I can so I can stop worrying about it.

They were walking down the street. Jake and Devon holding hands, Nadine eating an ice cream and Lexy walking around holding a bag from the music store down the road. After everything that went down with Chucky, they all decided to stick together no matter what. They had no more worries since Chucky was officially gone for good.

Out of the corner of his eye, Jake swore he saw Junior, his cousin he thought was dead. He's been dead for over two years! No way he could have survived and never kept in contact with them!

Jake stops in his tracks, looking back to where he saw him. He was sure it was him. The rest of the group stops now.

"Jake?"
Devon asked.

"Huh?"

"What are you looking at?"
He inquires

"Oh, it's nothing. I just thought I saw Junior for a second."
Jake explains.

"Jake! He's been dead for two years! We would've known if he was still alive!"
Lexy says.

"I know, I know! It just looked a lot like him."
He responds, turning back to look at the group, Nadine has a confused expression on her face.

Devon drags him as he takes a final glance at the boy. He finally turns around and sees Junior.

"Guys!"
Jake yells.

"What?"
Lexy asks.

"It's Junior. He just turned around! That's fucking Junior! He saw me too!"
He explains, breaking out of Devon's grip.

"Jake! Give it a rest! It's not him! He's died over two years ago, I get you feel bad but you can't just say that!"
Devon claims.

Lexy was close to saying something before the boy walks over to them.

"Hey guys, no time no see!"
It's fucking Junior.

"Hey.."
Lexy replies, stopping in her tracks.

"Junior..?"
Devon questions.

"Yep. That's me."
Junior claims.

"But how did you.."

"Survive? I don't know myself. I was barely awake in the ambulance."
The short haired boy answers, cutting the female off. He turns his attention to Nadine.

"I don't think we've met. I'm Junior, Jake's cousin." He greets, holding his hand out.

Nadine, being the nicest planet forgets her confusion and puts a big smile on her face,
"Nadine, nice to meet you."

"Hold up, it's been two years and you haven't cared to leave us a message telling us you were ok or anything?"
Jake confronts.

"I lost my phone! I had to get a new one completely and I don't have any of your numbers memorized!" Junior explains.

"For god sake, I've been living at the motel 6 for those two years, I was just now able to get a different place. I'm living at an apartment now!"
He adds.

"Ok. Maybe we should all just walk around and catch up with everything."
Lexy suggests, everyone agrees and they go get lunch.

They all talked and laughed but Nadine couldn't help but feel left out. She felt guilty, this was their friend that they haven't seen in years but she doesn't know him. Nadine can't randomly start a conversation with him and act like they've known each other all their lives! She always tried to be kind, to act like nothing is wrong but it just doesn't feel right to be here with them.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom."
She whispers to Lexy before getting up out of her seat.

"Where is she going?"
Junior asked.

"She said she's going to the bathroom."
The blonde answers.

It's been awhile and Nadine hasn't left the bathroom, everyone already ordered their food and they began to eat, despite how hot the food was still. Leaving the conversation, Lexy gets out of the booth, and without an explanation, she leaves to go to the bathroom.

When she walked in, Nadine stood there on her phone, she looked upset.

"Hey, Nadine."
Lexy awkwardly greets.

The redhead puts her phone away, turning her attention to the blonde.

"Yeah?"
Nadine questions, she's smiling.

"Are you ok? You've been in here for awhile.."
the other claims.

"Really? I didn't think I've been in here so long. But you know, yeah, I'm great."
The girl answers.

"Nadine, you don't have to act like you've got everything together. You seem upset."
Lexy says.

"It's nothing. I just don't really know Junior besides you mentioning him every once in a while and it just feels weird. Also, I may feel a tad bit left out.." Nadine explains.

"Nadine, I'm sorry. We didn't mean for you to feel that way! Let's go back and eat, I'll try to start a conversation for you two to talk more."
The blonde stated.

"No, it's ok. You don't need to force us to talk to each other!"
She testified.

Lexy didn't listen. Instead, she dragged Nadine back to the table and they actually became friends and talked more. Nadine didn't feel left out anymore, she actually felt included and got to know Junior well.
