Seven Minutes in Hell

So Jake and Devon are dating in this but they're like private, they haven't told anyone really. Only Junior knows. Also they're not like Jake's friends but they aren't like his bullies. Like Jake, Lexy and Oliver, they're kind of like accomplices.

All Jake could smell was alcohol, weed and nicotine everywhere he went. Wherever he walked, there would be people all around him. The house was crowded with stupid teenagers, all they did was get drunk and high. Jake doesn't even know why he came to this party, he wasn't drinking or smoking, vaping and making out with random people. There was no purpose for him to be there. But you know, Devon always comes to these things as well, and he never does that either. So, of course he dragged Jake out of his room for once and brought him here. He doesn't even know where Devon went.

Bored, Jake walks up the the drink stand someone set up in the kitchen. Most of the drinks were alcohol, vodka, crown, wine, bourbon, and shit, there was a ton of beer. But, there was also some punch in a bowl. Jake suspected it was spiked but it's better than drinking straight up alcohol, just to throw it up later and get a migraine. The boy grabs one of the red solo cups and gets some of the reddish punch in the bowl and he takes a sip. Yep. Definitely spiked. He sighs, a bit annoyed, he didn't want to get drunk for the first time while in a party with some random kids he went to school with. But, at least whatever alcohol was in here, wasn't bad. It was something that Jake wouldn't choose to drink but he could tolerate it.

Jake walks upstairs, everyone chanting in a circle around a closet door. Seems stupid but they're drunk and high teenagers so it wasn't anything surprising. Smoke was being blown in the air, the mix of nicotine, weed and some fruity flavors filled the air. He wouldn't have been shocked if he got lung cancer from second-hand smoke.

"Hey, you want a hit?"
Some guy asked, holding out a joint.

"Thanks for the offer but I'll pass."
Jake answers, making his way through the crowd.

After a timer goes off, Lexy opens up the closet, two people walking out. Jake sees Devon standing close to her, he doesn't have anything better to do.

"Hey, Devon."
Jake smiles, trying to not make it awkward.

"Hey Jake!"
Devon yells back, music is playing in the background, it's pretty loud.
"What are you drinking?"

"Just some spiked punch."
He answers, joking a bit as Devon chuckled.
"What are you drinking?"

"This beer that Lexy got. Best kind I've ever tasted." Devon claims.

"Didn't know you drink."
Jake says.

He giggled again.
"Oh, I don't. I've never gotten drunk or anything. I mean, I guess beer is kind of like drinking but I don't really count it. I always tried different kinds of beer with them."

"Alright! Who wants to go next?"
Lexy yelled, cutting their conversation short.

Many people raised their hands, all their slurred words coming together. But Oliver spoke up, standing behind both Jake and Devon.
"I know, how about Devon and Jake go? Since they're obviously so in love."
He teased.

I mean, they were dating. But nobody knew besides Junior, and he wouldn't ever out Devon to their friends. Though, they knew he was gay already. Jake thinks everyone kind of teased him for his crush on Devon; trying to embarrass him. Or Oliver is being a sick, per usual, because they've been hanging out and talking more than they used too.
