Hungover

The next morning after a big party. It was finally the day Nadine turned 21. We say finally because all of her friends were already 22. They all went out for drinks. Though Jake didn't drink anything with a ton of alcohol because he's sworn to never get drunk. Which, Nadine couldn't do more than respect that.

After spending probably most of their money on beers, Jake was the only one sober, and Devon was just a little out of it and tipsy, so he drove them back to Lexy and Nadine's where they only celebrated more until they all passed out. Jake helped the girls to their room then collapsed on the couch next to his boyfriend. It was probably like 5 am. Nobody cares about the time.

Lexy woke up at around 9:30 to some throwing up in the bathroom. Usually, she would just go back to sleep but she thought it could only be Nadine. She gets up, her vision still a little blurry, and stumbles to the bathroom in the bedroom.

Nadine slumped over the toilet, her glasses nowhere to be seen and looked miserable. The blonde sits next to her, the ginger has always kept her hair short so there wasn't anything to hold back, so she just patted her back and mumbling reassuring words.

After she was done, they sat on the bathroom floor. "So, how are you feeling?"
Lexy asked.

"I feel sick, and miserable. And I have a fucking migraine."
Nadine stated, reaching for her glasses that she left on the sink.

"That's the worst part about getting wasted."
The other laughed.

"Yeah. But besides being hungover as shit, I had a great time."
She claimed, leaning into her girlfriend.

"Here, you go lay back down. I'll bring you some medicine and make breakfast."
Lexy suggested.

"You sure? I bet you're hungover too."
She asked.

"I'm sure."
The taller girl reassured.

She's been gone for literally two minutes and Nadine missed her. She wanted that melatonin and medicine and just sleep. Lexy came back up into the room with the bottle of pink liquid and the package of strawberry flavored melatonin gummies. Giving her a small kiss on the forehead and leaving again.

For the first time, Jake was awake before Devon. He was in the kitchen and eating a Twinkie, still looking as tired as ever.

"Up before Devon for once?"
Lexy teases.

"Shut up. He sleeps a lot when he's hungover."
Jake claims, his Twinkie shoved in mouth and flicking the girl off.

"Are you hungover?"
She asks.

"No. I didn't even get tipsy. I was the one that drove us here. You?"
He responds.

"Yeah. Not as hungover as usual. I can actually function a little bit today. It's Nadine I'm worried about if anything."
Lexy explains, yawning and opening the cabinet.

"Why's that?"
Jake asked.

"It's her first time drinking. She was throwing up in the toilet and yeah. Also she's by girlfriend I'll always be worried about her."
She says.

"Yeah, I get that. Get her some water. It'll help a lot. Which, I assume you already knew that."

"Yeah. Anyways, I told her I would make her breakfast."

"Cool, what are you making?"

"I might as well make a whole feast. I was going to make pancakes but she also likes cinnamon rolls."

"Make both. I can help."
Jake claimed.

"Alright. Might as well."
Lexy sighs.

"When's Devon going to be up?"
She asked.

"I don't know. He can be so unpredictable sometimes."
The curly haired male claimed, peaking at the living room, where he sees his significant other still asleep.

It's been close to an hour and the two finally finished breakfast. Devon was just now waking up and Nadine ended up coming downstairs earlier for something to drink. Which she got water. Good choice.

After breakfast, though it was close to noon, Jake and Devon agreed it was time to go back home and get rest. Leaving the two girls alone.

"Do you feel any better?"
Lexy asked.

"I still feel miserable, and really tired, and my head still hurts. But I'm feeling a bit better."
Nadine says.

"Ok well, we can now go back to our room and sleep for the rest of the day."

"That seems nice."

This was semi rushed because I haven't posted in like 3 days nor started working on something new and I felt bad.
