Even though it was a weekend and should be having fun with friends, Jake couldn't help but be upset. Don't get him wrong, it was the best week of his life. They finally ended Chucky once and for all. Now, there wasn't some psycho killer possessing a doll and attempting to kill them. He just felt... guilty. He felt like he was the blame for all the murders, his dad, uncle, aunt, Junior, Gary. Everyone else that was killed by him; by Chucky. If he didn't buy that stupid doll at the garage sale then none of this would've happened. Jake spent his Saturday grieving and thinking about everything that he didn't even notice the banging on the door.

Jake snapped out of his dozing and got out of his seat, he opened the door and immediately saw the eyes of Devon's; staring at him, looking as worried as ever. They greeted each other with a hug and an occasional kiss before pulling away.

"Hey, how have you been holding
up since we killed him?"
Devon asked.

"Not well. I've just been feeling to guilty for everything that happened. Literally all of my
family is dead, your mom is now dead, Lexy's
dad is dead. Gary is dead. If I didn't buy him at
the garage sale this wouldn't have happened!
I wouldn't have caused so many issues!"
Jake ranted, sitting down on the couch and spieled.

Before Jake could continue, he felt
a pair of soft lips, on his. Those same lips
he felt for so many years. Those lips shutting
him up and him kissing back.
"It's not your fault. You didn't
know about him then."
Devon responds after pulling away from the kiss.

"Yeah, I know. It's just, hard. It feels good
to know that he won't be tormenting us ever
again but I'll never be the same. He changed
me, he made me realize, even more, how fucked
up the world is. How fucked up everyone is."
The curly haired male stated.

"I know, I know babe. We were all there. Lexy, you and I are still together after everything. I don't think I've ever been so close to someone as I am with you two. Plus Nadine, we are really close with her too! And Chucky brought us together. That's one good thing about this, and probably the only good thing." The other male confirmed, rubbing the taller male's back.

Jake smiled as those tears of guilt and sadness slipped down his face. Leaning into Devon's touch.

"It's getting late."
He stated, turning his gaze off of his boyfriend and looking out the open window.

"You're right. Let's cuddle, maybe that'll
make you feel a little better."
The shorter male suggested.

"Plus I'm tired."
He added, yawning.

They made it to Jake's bedroom and spent no time laying down and holding each other close. They never really had nights like this, so close together, giving each other kisses on the forehead or cheek. Nothing to worry about, and nobody to bother them. They looked at the ceiling, nothing there; but Jake swore he saw the constellations you'd see on any other night. It might just be his imagination.

He noticed Devon starting to doze off, his eyes closed and quietly breathing. His hand still in his hair, though, he wasn't playing with it anymore. Even if Devon was half asleep, he still pushed Jake off of him, then rolled on top of him and wrapped his arms around him; snuggling into his chest. Jake forgot how clingy Devon could be sometimes. The curly headed male would've been surprised on how fast his boyfriend fell asleep if he didn't say he was tired before. It didn't take long for Jake to follow behind Devon in falling asleep.
