CHAPTER 16: Wolf Dork

Third Person's Perspective

"W-what? see me? Why would you want to see me? Wait—how did you even know where this place is? Who told you about where—wait! Did Boscha told you how to get here?" Amity bombed her with question which she just nervously chuckled.

"Before I answer all your question, can you let me in first? My arms are starting to get tired" Luz's hands trembled, tightly holding onto the brick wall as she tried her best not to fall down from the height.

"Fine, but you're not escaping my questions-"

"Amity? Dear, is everything alright? I heard you talking to someone" A tall and slightly muscular man came in her room, making Amity jump in surprise. She immediately turned around, covering the brown-haired wolf who was visible from her window.

"Dad! You scared me there" Amity jolted, immediately sweating bullets as she stared at her father who was scanning around her room. The Blight's hands unintentionally pressed onto Luz's fingers, making the poor wolf wince in pain.

"Ow!"

"Oh, I'm sorry, I was just checking if you're alright because I heard you talking to someone. Is someone here with you?" Her dad asked as his eyes started to wonder around the room before landing on her daughter's eyes

"Uhm, n-no, no one is here with me" Amity mentally facepalmed herself, noticing how pathetic it sounded when she stuttered.

"Oh okay, but I could've sworn I heard someone's voice in here? And it seems like you were angry too" Alador took a few steps closer to her daughter before Amity jumped from her bed and immediately stopped her father from coming closer.

"Nothing dad, I.... I was just talking to myself because of the...... the book I'm reading, yeah" She immediately replied, staring back at his father as she tried to be convincing "I didn't really like the ending so I'm angry"

"Oh, is that so? Then I'll leave you then" Her dad gave her a kiss on the forehead before leaving "Goodnight, mittens"

"Okay, thanks dad" Amity smiled at her father before he closes the door. She stood there for a moment mentally cursing herself for that pathetic act she just did before hurriedly looking out of the window

"Hey, are you alright?" Amity asked, looking down on Luz who was still hanging. She took Luz's hand, lifting her up to her room

"No, I'm not, but it's good to know you care about me, mittens~" Luz teased. A vein then suddenly popped on the mint-haired vampire's forehead as she once again lowered Luz, almost making her slip "Hey! C'mon, I was only joking"

"Next time you try to make a joke, don't do it while youre in danger, I might just kill you the next time you do that" Amity smirked, making Luz flushed as she looks down trying to avoid eye contact.

"Can you just pull me up?" Luz said

"Sure, but I don't feel like it right now, you're nice to have, just hangin' around. Now I get to have my revenge on you" Amity smirked

"Har, har, very funny" Luz rolled her eyes, slightly smiling. Amity just giggled, making Luz blush once again. She slightly pulled Luz up but got interrupted again

"Hey mittens, have you seen my glitter box?" The door slightly creaked open, making Amity jump again in surprise of seeing her brother Edric

"For the love of G- Why cant this room be quiet even just for a minute?!" Amity accidentally loosen her grip at Luz's arm, making her almost fall but luckily, she got a hold of one of the bricks.

"What the hell Ed?! Don't you know how to knock?!" Amity yelled

"Why knock when I can just go in? Why mittens? Is there something here that you dont want me to see~?" Edric teased, giving a cat like face
