Amity's Perspective

"You?" I questioned as my eyes widened in shock of who I'm seeing. It was the wolf girl who saved me. My mind was confused, thinking of any reasons why she would save me.

She was in her wolf form when she saved me. Her fur was so soft that it made me comfortable and warm but this didn't stop me from contemplating on why she would help me at all.

She stopped in a wide space, crouching down as she signals me to get down. Once I got down from her, she reverted back to her human form "Hey, are you alright?" She asked, making me dumbfounded as I look at her, still in shock.

There was a complete silence between us, making her nervous as she started to fidget her fingers "Uhm, look" She trailed off "I'm really sorry for humiliating you. It's just that, the two of you started to attack me and I didn't really know what to do so I started to fight back." She explained but I ignored what she said and made a serious look.

"Why?" I asked, making her raise a brow in confusion to what I asked

"What do you mean 'why'?" She asked "I just said that I didn't mean to humiliate you and-"

"No! not that! I mean." I trailed off, rubbing my temples as I look at her seriously "Why did you save me? I tried to kill you twice but why did you do that?"

She raised a brow, looking at me in confusion "Am I not allowed to help you?" I raised a brow, thinking of what she meant "I mean, if I'm basing you trying to kill me as a reason for not helping you then I wouldn't be a good person, won't I? I may be an animal but I'm not a monster"

My eyes widened in surprise as I heard her reason for saving me. I didn't think that someone that I tried to kill would be the one to save me, let alone a wolf girl.

I snapped out of my thought when I heard her say something "Look, I'm sorry if you thought I humiliated you, I didn't mean for you to feel like that. Don't worry, you don't owe me anything and I'm not really asking for your forgiveness either but I really am sorry" She said, looking back at me before turning into a wolf and disappeared from my site.

I was left speechless, standing at a wide spot in the woods, not really knowing what just happened.

By the time I returned to the castle, it was almost sunrise and luckily, I didn't get burnt by the sun. Everyone seems to be curious about me heading to the woods at night, I didn't really care about what they are saying, I just went to my room in silence, not speaking a word

I rest in my bed, placing my arm on my forehead while looking at the ceiling. I still can't get what happened earlier out of my head.

My eyes were about to close but then I hear a knock at my door, making snap my gaze over it before standing up from my bed.

The door creaked open, slowly revealing Boscha's dirty clothes and messed up hair.

"What happened to you? You lookawful" She said, pointing out the word 'awful' as I look at her "Well, you look more awful than me of course but before you answer that, can you please give me something to wipe the dirt off of my face?" My eyes just bunched, giving a sigh

I slowly stood up, walking towards the cabinet beside Boscha before opening it. My hands trailed at the bottom, trying to find a face towel. After finding one, I threw it over Boscha's face before returning to my bed.

"Thanks" She said, wiping the dirt off her face "So? What happened?"

"I bumped into her again" I mumbled, but enough for Boscha to hear it, making her eyes widened

"You met her again????" Her eyes were widened in disbelief "Where??? How??"

"In the woods, when I was observing the tree house built on top of the huge tree" I replied
