(I was always slightly mad with myself for just leaving the pack's storyline in the wind so I'm doing this to give myself some piece of mind. Just a warning, it's a little gorey)
Of course she stayed with Derek. He was gravely injured, and despite all her instincts telling her not to, she could try and heal him.
Things... weren't going great. Vic had never been happier to see Hunters before that night. The Calaveras came in, guns blazing and determined to bring the woman down.
It was beautiful.
Vic kicked back a Berserker as a wolf's howl pierced the night. She looked at where Derek's body was to see it empty. Then she noticed the torn clothing next to the spot.
Her eyes widened as a black wolf jumped over the stone wall and tackled Kate. It shone its electric blue eyes as it slowly but surely changed into Derek Hale.
A butt ass naked Derek Hale. Oh God, now I know how Stiles feels when I shift back, Vic thought.
"You were- you were dead," Kate stuttered.
"No, I was evolving," Derek denied. "Something you'll never do."
The Berserker in front of Vic charged at Derek. The wolf dodged the swipe and grabbed the bear skull on its head. He squeezed as a golden light protruded from the creature's skin. Then, the Berserker turned to ash, all that was left was the bear skull in Derek's hands.
Kate looked around, apparently deciding to run. Argent fired a bullet that hit her in the back. She turned and looked back, betrayal on her face. "Chris..."
Her brother wasn't able to reply, since he got thorn into a wall by a Berserker. Kate got up, limping away.
No. She wasn't gonna get away this time. She followed Kate into the old church, and down a corridor. Her silver knife was tight in her hand.
"You aren't going anywhere," she said.
Kate turned around to face the grizzly. "And what makes you think that?" She asked. The woman glowed her green eyes.
Vic didn't let her emotions show. "Because you have too much to answer for. Tezcatlipoca isn't just a jaguar, that was just a disguise so he could walk on earth. He was a punisher of evildoers and masters who mistreated his children."
Vic had no idea where these words came from. They were just... coming out of her mouth. But she knew that whatever was telling her these words, they wanted Kate gone as well.
Kate scoffed. "You think you know what Tezcatlipoca wants? He's not even a real god."
Grizzly, a voice said. We have a common enemy. Keep her there, for a few moments.
Vic didn't know this new voice in her head. It was different. It felt... older. Darker somehow. But she knew it was her ally. At least for the moment.
"I know that he wouldn't like you," Vic said. "You've killed innocents, children, children that weren't even supernatural. You don't even care, do you?"
Kate chuckled. "That's what this is all about? Your little pack, was a joke."
"They were good people," Vic protested. "Good people that didn't deserve to die. They did good things in the world. You, you only make the world worse."
Kate sighed. "Okay, I've had enough of this. She flicked her wrist and her claws came out. They were longer and sharper then a wolf's claws. Vic's were longer of course. But that didn't mean Kate's couldn't do some damage.
They are here, the new voice said.
Kate smirked. "What? Is the little grizzly scared?"
"No, I'm not scared of you," she denied. "But there's someone else here who wants to see you as well."
