(This is a bit of a crossover between Teen Wolf and Percy Jackson. I in no way own Percy Jackson or the rights to it, only my own characters and plot lines. This is also a mini promo for my new book. Hope y'all enjoy)
There was someone that Vic didn't know in the room. She was older then Vic, maybe Stiles's age, with long brown hair and hard grey eyes. There was a certain look about her, the way she held herself and tilted her chin, like she had seen a thousand horrors and stabbed them all in the heart.
From the golden knife on her belt, Vic felt her assumption wasn't too far off.
"Who's this?" Vic asked Stiles.
Parrish was the one who spoke instead. "Lizzie, this is Vic. Vic, this is my sister, Elizabeth."
The girl, Elizabeth, examined her with grey eyes the colour of stone. They were unsettling. But Vic stared back. Elizabeth had a leather necklace with three different clay beads, the designs too far away for her to see. She also had a pair of dog tags that hung around her neck. She was wearing an orange t-shirt and jeans with black Nikes on her feet. There was a silver hunting backpack slung over her back.
"How's Lydia?" Elizabeth asked.
Vic looked at Stiles, a question in her eyes. He nodded. They could trust her.
"She's completely out of it," Vic replied. "Her pupils were thin as needles. She was paler then usual too."
"It could be a side effect of shock," Parrish offered.
Stiles shook his head. "It was Theo digging his way through her mind."
Vic watched Elizabeth for her reaction. She didn't seem surprised by the information. In fact it seemed like she was sorting this into something she might be able to understand. "I thought only alphas can do that," Elizabeth spoke up.
"Usually yeah," Scott confirmed. "It's incredibly dangerous when an alpha does it, and when someone else does, even more so."
Elizabeth nodded, her hand going to her chin like she was thinking about it hard.
"Why whould he do it?" Melissa asked. "What is he looking for?"
"The same thing he's always looking for, an advantage," Scott pointed out.
"What kind of advantage would he get from doing that?" Vic asked.
"From what I can gather, Lydia is very smart, maybe she knows something he wants," Elizabeth guessed.
"So what would he gain by trying to gut Stilinski?" Parrish asked.
"It left me alone with Liam," Scott stated. "Theo wanted to make sure no one would be there to stop him from killing me."
"Okay, so he gutted our dad as a distraction," Stiles concluded.
"Sounds about right," Elizabeth said. "It kept your attention off Scott so you wouldn't go to his rescue. And based off tonight, he isn't afraid to hurt people to get what he wants."
"We need to find this kid," Parrish pointed out.
"Isn't that a little dangerous, since he almost gutted these two kids," Melissa said, pointing to Vic and Scott. Vic rubbed the Band-Aid at the back of her head.
"Yeah, but he didn't want my dad to die," Stiles countered.
"And you believe him?" Parrish asked.
"He's right," Elizabeth told her brother. "The injuries weren't deep, and they might've been bloody but they weren't fatal. Theo wanted the sheriff to get hurt, not get killed."
