This is just a few little scenes of Liz with Nico and Will in New Rome. Just expanding on what you already know. Enjoy
I paced back and forth in Cabin Thirteen. Rue watched me from her place on Nico's bed. The envelope on the mattress was taunting me. It held the answer to my future, if I would be continuing with this or not. It would determine if my plans would succeed. It made me want to cry and throw up. My hand drifted to my jewel earring. It was a reminder that no matter the destination, it was still a path I had to endure.
The door opened. Nico and Will came in. The small pack of demons followed after them. Rue barked and jumped down to meet her friends.
"Well?" Will asked.
I stopped pacing. "I haven't opened it yet."
Will nodded in understanding. He had already been given acceptance into New Rome's medical program before he goes to the actual medical school. It was confusing. But he had a similar reaction. He was pacing, sweating and nervous when it arrived. When he read he had been accepted, he started glowing so bright I had to put my sunglasses on.
"You want one of us to?" Nico offered.
I pursed my lips but nodded. Nico walked over to the bed I had claimed as mine and sat down. He took the envelope. Will sat next to him. Nico opened it and pulled a paper out. He paused and read it, Will reading over his shoudler.
I licked my lips, fidgeting with my dog tags. "Did I get in?" I asked.
Will looked up at me with shining eyes. "You got it," he said.
I felt my eyes go wide. "I did?"
Nico nodded. "You got in."
I felt a smile cross my face and my legs start to shake. "I got it!" I laughed and cheered. Will hugged me. He picked me up, laughing. I laughed too, sending a beaming smile to Nico. He was smiling too. The Cocoa Puffs chirped and growled in confusion. They didn't understand. Rue was barking, running around as she didn't know what was going on either. I didn't care. I was too happy.

I zipped up my backpack, everything I owned in there. Armor, my bow, clothes, my recorder and all the tapes, my sketchbooks that held plans for arrows and cabins, all of Rue's toys and treats and poop bags.
"I still can't believe you're leaving," Charlie said.
"I have to," I replied. "If I want to make my plans happen, I need to take this next step. Cabin Six will be fine without me."
"It'll be weird not seeing you here," Patrick admitted.
I chuckled. "Buddy, you've been here longer than I have."
"Yeah, I know," he said. "Still feels weird though."
"You guys will be okay," I told my younger siblings. "Justin and Insley are gonna take good care of you as co-counselors. Besides, it's not like you'll never see me. We'll still Iris Message each other. Plus you're both going home for school. So will I. You just won't see me in the summer."
"Yeah, that's gonna be the weird part," Justin stated from the doorway. "Camp van is ready to go. Everyone out."
I slung my backpack over my shoulder. For the last time, I closed the door to Cabin Six. I walked and laughed with my siblings as we climbed Half-Blood Hill. Both Nico and Will were there. The Cocoa Puffs were running around and generally causing trouble. Neither boy was trying to stop them, they just watched. Rue barked and ran over to meet them.
