"Are you excited to get back into the air?" Rooster asked as we drove onto Topgun base in his bronco. I glanced at him, and smiled.

"Words can not describe how excited I am." I admitted. He smiled, chuckling softly.

"Good timing too, we're getting ready for a new mission." He said, turning towards one of the parking lots.

"I'm glad Doctor Fair passed my evaluation." I sighed happily, resting my head against the head rest. Rooster reached over and gave my hand a small squeeze.

"Me too. We've missed you." He told me.

"So what's the new mission?" I asked.

"It's a recon mission. We've brought on a of heli for the drop." He explained.

"The drop?" I questioned, looking at him with raised eye brows, confused. He nodded.

"There's a lot to the mission, and Maverick really knows more then I do. He took the lead on this one." Rooster explained. I nodded as he parked the bronco. We got out and took hands as we walked towards our training compound. My heavy boots, which I hadn't worn since our last mission, clanged on the ground as I stepped. A soft smile touched my lips, happy to finally have that familiar feeling back. "How are you doing today?" Rooster asked as we walked.

"Fantastic." I answered, smiling up at him. "I've missed this." He chuckled softly, leaning over and kissing the top of my head.

"Im glad to have you back." He admitted. When we reached our normal room, he held the door open. Inside, most of our normal team was already waiting, along with four men I didn't recognize.

The four men, stood together talking with Bob and Phoenix. As we approached, a sandy blonde man, with brown dominated hazel eyes, was talking loudly.

"I heard the infamous dog fighter Stitch is on this team." We heard as we got closer. Phoenix smirked, and nodded.

"Yeah, she is." She answered.

"I've heard she's hot." Another man, with jet black hair and bright blue eyes spoke. He had a few distinct freckles on his face, along with a bit of dark stubble from a lack of shaving. The sandy blonde chuckled, smacking the black haired man in the chest.

"Dude you have no idea." The sandy haired man said. "I've seen her you know." He lied. Rooster and I had joined the group by this point, and shared an amused smirk.

"Oh really?" Phoenix asked glancing at us, then back at the blonde. He nodded.

"Don't tell anyone." He whispered, leaning towards her. "But we used to sleep together. You know, when the stress of the mission was too much for her." He continued to lie.

"Damn, you must be one lucky man." I commented, crossing my arms, still amused. He nodded.

"We've been on a couple missions with her, I've only ever heard her talk." A man with light brown hair said. He had a pair of black framed glasses over his green eyes, his tanned skin being nicely accented by the green jumpsuit we all wore.

"Too bad, because that ass." The dirty blonde continued to lie.

"She does sound hot." The last man, who was by far the tallest of the four, spoke. His voice was heavily accented, but not so bad as we couldn't understand what he said. His hair was also black and his eyes a dark brown.

"Yeah her voice is pretty hot." The first black haired man agreed. "I'm Jack by the way." He added, holding his hand out to the group of us. "Callsign Whisper."

"Natasha, callsign Phoenix." She said, talking his hand.

"I'm Bob... Callsign Bob."

"Rooster."
