Marianna Fudge, granddaughter to the great Cornelius Fudge. Though she didn't think him to be all that great, in actuality, he was awful.
That didn't stop her fellow Hogwarts students, they all wanted to be her mate. That didn't seem like something people would often complain about but for Marianna it proved they didn't know her, or her family well enough. They simply wanted to climb social ranks, not actually be her friend.
That's why she was surprised to receive a letter inviting her over for the holidays. The pureblood witch normally spent the holidays alone in her manor or she was forced to attend god awful ministry Christmas parties. She ached to have a real Christmas, surrounded by loved ones and the warmth of friends.
This offer seemed too good to pass up, that was until she saw whom the letter was from.
