𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘌𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘦, 𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘥𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯
A week had past since Cayetana haw officially accepted the offer, she had yet to tell any of her friends and her flight was tomorrow. With the boys out she thought she saved herself from having to tell Derek but the day was still young.
"Derek's camping. taking time, getting space," Meredith spoke as the three female interns stood staring at the or board.
"Prestons do not go into the woods. A guy named Preston is going to get his ass kicked by a squirrel," Cristina told.
"I would pay to see that." Joked Cayetana as she sipped her coffee.
"It's basically a slumber party. We do it inside, they do it outside. That's the only difference," Izzie added.
Suddenly Sloan appeared, " Have you seen what's his face?"
"You mean Alex Karev." Responded Izzie, annoyance noted in her voice.
"Poor bastard seems to get a thrill out of tagging along after me." Mark smirked, winking at Cayetana.
The latina rolled her eyes. "He's camping."
"Well in that case how would you like to get a thrill out of tagging along after me?"
Cat smiled, "No."
"Well then, since princess declined my offer how about you." Mark said, facing Meredith
"Dr. Bailey makes the assignments." Meredith said, hoping to save herself and Cayetana from Sloan.
"Dr. Bailey says it's fine. Go. Stephens conference room. You're spending the day with your peer counsellor. Santi go to legal."
Meredith, Cristina, and Izzie turned to Cat. She had yet to tell them about the offer and well being told to go to legal never seemed good.
"Yes, ma'am." Cayetana said before rushing away from the three interns, Bailey and Sloan.
" And Dr.Santi I expect you to come find me after. Seems we have to a lot to take about." Bailey yelled.
"Yes ma'am." Cayetana replied before turning the corner.
Cayetana spent five hours, signing and negotiating the contracts, assuring all your rights were stated and everything was in order. Finally when everything was done, she went on her way to find Dr. Bailey.
" You wanted to speak to me." Cayetana said as she walked up to the short resident.
"No. I want you to tell me why you were called to legal and spent five whole hours there." Bailey said sternly. Truthfully Bailey was nervous when they had told her Cayetana was needed in legal. Each hour that passed, Bailey grew more and more nervous. Cayetana was an absolute genius and she didn't want that talent to go to waste.
