Harry Potter is overrated

I said it.

Harry Potter is the most one-dimensional character with little emotional growth and development.

The entire series is bomb as hell and black and white. They had one good character and y'all blew it up and dragged that shit to the dogs and back.

Whose that one good character, you might ask?

Draco Malfoy.

But of course, that's a chapter for another day...

Point is, it's just so boring. I was a superfan of it and bought a whole bunch of merchandise when I was younger. But as I've gotten older, I've just really lost interest in it and came to the conclusion that it's boring and dragged out.

It had some good arcs/moments, but I feel like the longer it was in fame, the worse it got. This new generation of Harry Potter lovers and general HP content is not it. Back when it was old school, it was good. But I feel like it's just gotten so much worse. And not just the general fan base as a whole, but EVERYTHING. The new movies and books.

And I'm actually disappointed and upset that this happened. Because I thought that I was going to be a life long fan!

And I guess I still am, but I had to face the truth that it's overrated. I'll keep liking it, but just not as much because my interest has gone down from its peak by a long shot.
