Two hours of non-stop walking could murder anybody's legs and spirit.

But for these four, they were completely fine.

In front of them lay an old wooden house. The scenery around was quite beautiful; with the forestry surroundings and the mountainous background, who wouldn't find peace there?

The sky was dark, invisible crickets chirped along the ground; dozens of burning stars dotted the black sky. The wind was cold, but not uncomfortable.

"Whew! Finally here!" Leorio cheered.

"It is so quiet. Are we the only applicants to arrive?" Kurapika says. They walk onto the front deck, and Leorio carefully knocks on the creaky old door.

There was no answer, so he grabbed the doorknob and opened the door slowly, "Hello? Anybody ho-"

He was immediately cut off by the sight of a large fox-like creature standing there, holding a woman. On the ground beside it was a terrified man. The beast was white with a long snout, abnormally-long arms and a furry coat.

It continued to utter the eerie word, "Kill."

"A magical beast!" Kurapika yelled.

The three boys quickly got their weapons ready, panic slight on their faces as they aimed at the large beast. (Y/N) however, was slightly sceptical.

"Who would host a hunter exam here? Why is there nobody here? Why is there a beast here?" She thought to herself as she scanned the room.
