Ch2: A New Friend

"My name is......Jungkook. Jeon Jungkook."

"Nice to meet you Jungkook :)", you said shyly.
The boy sat down on the opposite side of the table and there were a few moments of silence before he spoke up again,
"So, how long have you been a trainee Quinn?"
"It's actually my first day today."
"Oh ok. Well I wish you all the best."
"Thank you. Are u just a trainee or part of a group?"
"Actually I'm going to debut next year with my group, I'm really shy so i still barely talk to them much...."
"I get it. I'm also really shy and take a lot of time to adjust.."
Jungkook spotted the book beside you, "Is that 'The Guest ' by Hwang Sok-Yong?", he asked.
You nodded surprised that he knows it.
"I love that book and Hwang Sok-Yong -nim is one of my favourite authors.", he answered your unspoken question.
"Mine too, I love his books.", you replied

You two started talking more openly and found out that almost all your personalities were similar. You both loved playing video games, outdoor sports, reading books, pranking and many more.

Then you realised that it was time for you to get back to practice, so you both parted ways. You returned to your training and by the end of the day, you were dripping with sweat. When you returned to your dorm you dropped in your bed, thought for sometime and felt happy, you had made a New Friend today. Just then you were taken over by a wave of fatigue that you immediately fell asleep.
