Playoffs start for both of us next week so we've both had practice whenever we don't have a game. We've been back together for a couple weeks now and it was the best decision I've made.

Even though we're both busy we've still managed to see each other and spend quality time together. Tonight's the last regular season game for them so all the wives and girlfriends are sitting in the lower bowl instead of the suite and the rest of my team is coming too.

"Everyone come to the bench" coach yells. We all stop what we're doing and skate over. "Do a couple more laps then let's call it a practice" he instructs.

We all start skating again "wanna go get our nails done?" Gabi asks skating beside me. "Sure I could use a mani" I answer shrugging. "I wanna come!" Melissa says skating passed us. "Me too!" Jules adds. "Me three!" Nessa says coming up beside me.

After doing the laps we go back to the locker room and change. Rebecca, sandra and kandyce coming with us as well. "So we meet there then we go for something to eat?" I suggest.

They nod in agreement and then we split up. Melissa and gabi hoping in the back of our car. "Let's go!" Melissa cheers excitedly. On the way to the salon we jam out to music playing on the radio and I quickly check my phone.

Leon: I miss yooou
Leon: everyones going for dinner before the game, do your girls wanna come?

"Yall wanna get dinner with the team before the game?" I ask turning to melissa and gabi who's looking at her phone. "Oscar's already planning on picking me up so yes" she answers. "Sure! Maybe I can shoot my shot with yams" melissa answers.

That would be something.

I laugh "okay I'll text the team chat to let them know they're invited" I reply.

To leon: i miss you too
To leon: yeah! I've invited them we'll see how many come

To team chat from
Captain💞: you're all invited to the Oilers pre-game dinner *insert address*

We get to the nail salon and quickly we're taken in and chosen nail colours. I'm getting oilers blue and then orange glitter on my pointer fingers. Gotta represent my boys.

"So do you have a boyfriend?" The nail tech asks. "I do" I answer. "Oh good you're too pretty to be single" she replies smiling under her mask. "Oh well thank you" I reply slightly confused. "Does he treat you well?" She asks. I nod "yes very well" I answer. "Good good" she says.

Part way through her doing my nails I hear foot steps behind me then a tap on my shoulder so I look back and Leon's there with another bouquet of flowers. "Hello" he greets.

I gasp and lean up pecking his lips "hi baby" I reply. "Is this him?" The nail tech asks. I laugh and nod "yeah isn't he gorgeous?" I ask looking up at him. "Oh yes" she says looking at him. He chuckles and leans down kissing my forehead "thank you babe" he whispers.

He sits down in the free spot beside me and holds my already done hand. "Did you do the colours on purpose?" He asks. I giggle and nod "yup" I answer. He smiles and kisses my cheek "that's cute" he says.
