A few days ago I went and got the blood work done to find out what we're having and they told us we'd hear back within a few days so all morning we've been staring at my phone waiting.

We were thinking of doing a reveal party for our friends and we can Skype our parents in but we aren't sure how we wanna do it. "Wait this ones cute" i say watching a compilation of reveals. "So fitting too" he says.

It was a video of another NHL player hitting a puck and it exploding with coloured powder. "It is, let me see how they can be made" I reply then start doing research. As I'm about to contact a company my phone starts ringing.

My heart thumps in my chest as I answer putting it on speakerphone "hello is this scarlett hyman?" The lady on the other end asks. "This is she" I answer. "Great! We have the blood results back for finding out the sexs of the babies" she says. "Great" I reply nervously. "So baby A is a girl and baby b is also a girl" she tells us.

Leon's eyes don't even widen instead they twinkle and it seems like they might start to water. "Wow" he whispers. "That's amazing thank you" I say in shock. "Congratulations" she says before scheduling my next doctors appointment and then we hang up.

"We're having girls" I say looking at him. Without saying anything he pulls me into a hug "my girls" he whispers resting both his hands on my bump. I lift my head and look at his face, a few tears rolling down both his cheeks.

I wipe them off "are those happy tears or sad tears?" I ask. He chuckles "happy tears" he answers. "You're not absolutely terrified?" I ask. He shakes his head "nope, I'm excited to have 2 mini yous" he answers. "That's a scary thought" I joke.

He smiles "I like it" he says. "If you say so" i reply. He kisses my forehead and smiles "I'm here for the long haul" he tells me. "Yeah? Wanna go get married in Vegas?" I ask. He raises his eyebrows "really? Don't you want an actual wedding?" He asks. "Yeah we can do that when the girls are here" I answer.

After thinking it through he agrees and we book a flight there for tomorrow. "We're gonna need a witness" I say once i realized. "Mmm how about a few of our friends?" He suggests. "Yeah? Like gabi, oscar, Jules and jesse,and melissa and kailer?" I ask. "And connor and Lauren" he adds.

We both quickly text them all and immediately we get replies.
