Leon rubs my back gently as I flip the last pancake "that looks good" he whispers in my ear. "I know" I whisper back. He kisses my cheek "I'm gonna let the dogs out before jules and Jesse get here to pick them up" he says going over to the back door.

"Okay! Coffee?" I ask. "Yes please babe" he answers. I pour him a cup and add the right amount of cream and sugar. "Thank you" he says as I hand it to him. "You're welcome" I whisper hugging him.

He wraps an arm around me and kisses my forehead "you ready for toronto?" He asks. "Yes" I answer excitedly. "Me too" he whispers. I look up at him "yeah?" I ask. He nods pecking my lips "yeah" he answers.

We let the dogs back in and then finish breakfast. Right as we are bringing down our suitcases the door bell rings. Leon puts his down at the bottom of the stairs and runs over opening the front door. "Come in come in" he says.

They come inside and jules kneels down petting darla. "Aren't you a beautiful girl" she gushes. Darla starts licking her face and jules laughs "is she always like this?" She asks. "Yeah get use to it" I answer.

Jesse laughs as darla moves onto licking his face all over. "See" leon says. Bowie goes on his back legs trying to get jules' attention and she laughs giving him a high five.

A few minutes later they leave taking our dogs for the few days we'll be gone. I hate leaving them but flying is so much easier than driving.

"Ready?" Leon asks picking up his suitcase and then mine. "Yesss lets go I'm ready to see my brothers and parents" I answer excitedly. He puts the suitcases in the truck then we speed over to the airport.

Our flight goes by so insanely fast and now we're sitting on my parents couch talking with them. "How was the flight?" My mom asks. "It was good" I answer. "Average" leon answers.

Tomorrow is the dinner but tonight my mom wants to prep so we move over to the kitchen leaving my dad and leon to talk.

Leon's point of view

"So leon you've been doing very well this season" her dad starts. "Thank you sir" I reply. "No need for formal talk" he says. "Sorry" I mumble. "So how are you and my daughter doing?" He asks. "We are great, we got another dog" I answer. "So you're living together?" He asks.

I nod gulping "yes" I answer. "So you plan on marrying her correct?" He asks. "Um actually while we were here i wanted to ask you something" i answer. "And that is?" He asks slightly smiling. "Do I have your blessing to ask her for her hand in marriage?" I ask him.

We sit in complete silence for a full minute before he starts talking. "Leon I knew from the minute I met you you were the right man for my daughter so yes" he answers. "Thank you" I reply shaking his hand. "Just keep her happy and we won't have a problem" he says.

The two of us talk for a bit before scarlet comes in. "Either of you want a beer?" She asks. "Sure sweetie" her dad answers. "Yeah sure" I answer. She leans over the couch "it'll cost you one kiss" she says. I chuckle and peck her lips "paid in full" I joke.
