[Damian recounts events cont'd]
-------
Queen Marie: ...and now you are hated for doing so. What will you do?
(The Queen's voice was calm and gentle as she lovingly stared at her son sitting beside her. She then questioned him further)
Damian: ...
Queen Marie: Is your intention to remain embittered towards them forever?
Damian: Yes!
Queen Marie: -sigh- My lovely son, why not instead, display your strength again?
Damian: ....what do you mean?
Queen Marie: I mean, the mercy you showed towards the villagers, why not extend it towards your father and brother as well, in the form of forgiveness?
Damian: -pout- ....why should I? They don't deserve it!
Queen Marie: It's not a matter of whether you feel they deserve it or not..it is so, you can gain peace
Damian: ....
(Both of his hands she held tightly and said)
Queen Marie: Damian, listen to me - If you remain this way; full of anger, hate, rage - it will slowly consume you and there will remain no space within you to show mercy.
Eventually, you will display this hate to everyone and everything around you - everyday. You will lose who you truly are. What would I do if I were to lose you? Forgive them my son...and forgive yourself.
Damian: -sniff-
Queen Marie: There, there...
(She tightly hugged her crying child and comfortingly said)
Queen Marie: I know it is difficult - but, I also know that you are strong enough to do it

Alex: You cried?
Damian: Is that what you gathered? From all I just said?
Alex: -Hehe- Yup!
Damian smilingly glared at his brother. Meanwhile, Alex, who was fighting to hold back a smile and losing, said
Alex: I mean, no
Damian: ....So, I eventually made my way to Roman - It took me about a week after to do so. I decided, I would apologise for the words that I said after the raid and everything else since then.
