My Hot Neighbor (COMPLETED)

CHAPTER FIVE

"He is the Billionaire, Theo Banks!" Maggie said with a shock. She says breathlessly more enthused about it than me.

"He owns the largest construction company in New York!" Maggie added.

"Theo? You are kidding, right? He is... too... normal." I said with a shock and unsure expression to Maggie.

Not only os he a hunk, but he is rich, too? Why would a guy like that ever be  into a girl like me?

"No jokes." Maggie said.

"This doesn't change anything Maggie." I said to her with a sad tone.

I saw Maggie how she rolls her eyes at me dramatically. "Yes hun, I know the fact that he is loaded makes no difference to you. And you are right to be cautious after the way that jackass of an ex treated you. But Theo Banks would be just the guy you need to build back yourself." Maggie said.

I stopped and thought for a bit. 

I can't deny that the thought having Theo's thick shaft thrusting into me is turning me on. Big time.

"Admit it. It's flattering to know that such a hot, successful man wants you. I know I'd be flattered." Maggie said.

"If I see him again, I promise to make a move, okay?" I said to Maggie with a smile.

After last night, there is no way I am ever going to see that guy again. He probably thinks I am crazy.

A few days later, I am on my way to the gym to power through my frustration at still hearing nothing from Theo.

Did I do something wrong? I have half a mind to show up on his doorstep. But seeing how abruptly he ended our night last weekend, is that a good idea?

I see the familiar mountain-sized silhouette of a man enter the gym ahead of me. 

Was that Theo?

My heart skips a beat before a wave of annoyance at the thought of Theo ghosting me since last weekend. 

I know our date ended badly but has he really been here the entire time? And he chose to ignore me? I need to find out, one way or the other.

I follow Theo and the stranger into the gym, and make sure to stop just out of sight. I peek out from my hiding spot and spot them working out with the weights. From where I am, I can just about make out their conversation.

"I know she's my neighbor, but I can't stop thinking about her." I hear Theo said.

"But why did you stand her up?" I hear what the strange man asked to Theo. 

Suddenly, a running machine starts next to me, and I can't hear them anyone.

Neighbor? He is talking about me! I have to sneak closer... I should find out what Theo really thinks about me! Eavesdrop on him.

I creep closer until I find a good hiding place near the changing rooms, careful not to be spotted.

"Are you telling me she is not just another one of your conquests?" The man asked Theo.

"You make it sound like I can only do one-night stands." I hear Theo said.

"Bingo. You are the biggest player I know." The strange man said to Theo.

Figures. But I already know Theo was a player.

"And here I thought that was you." Theo said to the man.

"Fine. Second biggest. So? Tell me already. What is your deal with her?" The strange man said.

There is a pause as Theo considers his answer carefully.
