I am sunbathing when I notice talking to the mysterious woman from the other day. If I strain, I can just about to hear them.

"What is it?" Theo asked to the woman.

"You look good. Have you been working out?" The woman asked Theo after giving him some compliment.

So that's what is been holding him up at the bar.

I take a deep breath to compose myself.

Why am I jealous? It's not like he is my boyfriend. He is not mine.

The woman starts giggling louder and Theo cracks a smile. My frown deepens when I see her reaching out to touch his arm, just like last night.

Why do I get the feeling they knew each other well. Like, really well? Connor did warn me that Theo is a player and she might be one of his conquests.

I hesitate for a moment, then I creep closer to the bar. I stop behind the stone column, close enough to overhear Theo and the woman.

"I can't wait to see you, tonight." The woman said to Theo as the woman's eyes spark with interest. "Five o' clock?" She asked.

I flick my gaze to Theo, whose intentions are hard to read. He takes a sip of hi drink, while I am still holding in a breath.

"Yeah, we can meet back here at five." He said with a serious tone.

"Perfect. I have already made sure everything is the way you like it." The woman said to Theo.

Good." Theo shortly respond.

He is meeting her tonight?! Boyfriend or not, I will not let anyone make a fool of me.

I eavesdrop more of their conversation. I keep still on my spot where I am hidden.

"Will you be coming alone?" The woman asked Theo.

"I thought I pay you to work, not to ask questions." Theo said to the woman.

I shouldn't take that much satisfaction in his harsh tone. Or in the way her shoulders are slumping down.

"You two seem to be close... The last time you were here, you were a real player." The woman said to Theo.

"Was. But I'm not anymore." Theo said to the woman.

My heart starts thumping in my chest.

"That girl... she changed me." Theo said as his voice goes soften his tone.

"But..." The woman was about to say something but Theo cut her off.

"No more questions. Get back to work and check the float." Theo said to the woman in a mad tone.

My lips turn upwards at the same time hers purse together in a tight line.

"I... right away." The woman said with a loss tone.

"Now." Theo ordered the woman in a serious tone.

She nodded, dejected, then she disappears behind the bar.

Did he just admit to me changing him and dismiss her? Maybe Theo is not interested in her after all.

I make sure Theo's back is still turned before I quickly retreat to my sun loungers.

I barely have time to grab my phone and pretend to be scrolling down when Theo returns with two drinks at hand.

"Sex on the Beach for you." I heard him said.

I crumpled my brows, "Sorry?"

"Your cocktail. You let me choose, remember?" He said to me as he passes to me the drink with an amused smile, as I blush.
