Crushing Crushin'
In my dreams, I have a clue-
"Hey," I say, "I love you."
For a split second, you look surprised,
But then there's a smile in your eyes.
"Really? 'Cause I love you, too."
I wake up, thinking of our smiles that grew and grew,
Thinking of the day, saying that I can do something new.
But I know when I arrive at school,
I'll sit next to you, but fear will rule,
And I'll say everything except, "I love you."
