Chapter 3

The Confrontation

Will wondered, "Does Mom even know that Lonnie brought him there, she had never talked about any of it. Of course Lonnie brought him there, so he could buy more alcohol from the money they gave him.' As he made his way back to Hoppers' cabin. Till he arrives at the cabin, thoughts are going through his head. Joyce storms at him and gives him a hug. 'Where were you! We where worried.' Says Joyce worried. 'As I said, I was just going for a little walk.' Will says. 'A LITTLE walk that lasted one and a half hour!' Joyce questions. Shit he didn't think about the time. 'I got a little bit distracted I'm sorry.' 'The next time I want you to tell me where you're going, okay, I don't want to loose you.' "Yeah, okay," was the response. As he enters the cabin.

Jonathan was sitting on the couch and looked at Will 'Will there you are, we where worried about you.' Will responds, "I'm OK." 'Will, you seem to be acting a little strange. Are you okay?' 'I'm absolutely fine, everything's good, don't worry.' Will says in an angry tone. Everyone seemed to be concerned about him again now that he had experienced something.

'If there is something, please tell me, I can sense you're not feeling good.' says Jonathan. 'There. Is. NOTHING!' Will now says in a furious tone. Will had never spoken so angrily to Jonathan, who is perplexed by his words. 'Just please stop worrying, I'm fine.' Will then dashes to El's room for some alone time to think.

However, when he opened the door, El and Mike were conversing and laughing at one another. El had refused to speak to Mike for just over an hour, but suddenly everyone was smiling once more. Jealousy starts to run through Will's body. When Joyce entered the cabin, he slammed the door and turned to leave. 'We can remain at the Wheelers for the next few days, Karen told me over the phone.' Says Joyce. 'Oh, that's wonderful news.' Jonathan says.

Will didn't like the idea spending another few days with Mike in the basement together with El, seeing them being in love and fully ignoring Will, but he tried to act normal 'That's fantastic.' he exclaims with all the enthusiasm he can muster. 'So get your bags because where expected to be there at any minute.'

Nancy is waiting in her car outside, so Will grabs his bag and heads there.

When they go at the Wheelers, Will goes downstairs to where the others are seated. However, Lucas is still at the hospital with Max and is not present. So he was with Dustin, El and Mike. At least Dustin was there, but he wouldn't stay long because soon he'd be heading home and Mike and El would be by themselves.

He opens his bag pack, but it just contains a couple shirts and one pair of jeans.

And it was true that just Mike and El remained after dinner. Will truly didn't care that they were going to see a movie. He simply wanted to go to sleep and reflect on what he had seen before analysing their romantic feelings for one another. He was genuinely jealous. In the end, he dozed off on the couch.

When he opened his eyes, everything was pitch black and had no beginning or end. He noticed Henry when he turned around. "Wait, where am I, and why is this place so dark and black, but.." Will said, "You brought yourself and me here." What and how. 'You wanted to ask something.' 'Oh yeah right. I wanted to ask you about our plan.'

Mike wakes up by hearing a sound. He checks his watch, which shows 3.27 a.m. When he hears someone murmuring, he scans the pitch-black surroundings. He looks over to where Will is curled up on the couch. Although he is the one murmuring, he was unable to understand what Will was saying.

'Okay, I understand.' Will says. 'But first you need a lot of exercising and killing.' Will wrinkles his brow. 'Killing strengthens you, as the saying goes.' And then Henry faded away and he woke up.
