~Valerie's POV~

After sir Leon had dropped me off at my chambers I went to work sorting through my things. Being a wanderer I truly did not have a lot of possessions. I had the clothes on my person, a back up pair just in case and two dresses for when I'm providing entertainment. The only shoes I've got are my boots, As I usually just go barefoot when I'm doing my thing.

I've got a few necessities for living in the wild: flint, strips of cloth for my hair, something to wash with, and a few weapons here and there. Money of course as well. Then lastly I've got my twin blades that I carry around, usually they're strapped to my lower back, but I thought they'd just cause a problem in the city so I hid them. Oh, I've also got loads of stuff for Sunny, honestly, most the stuff I've got is for him. What can I say? I love my boy.

I sighed while strapping my blades back on. The tourney is suppose to start tomorrow, but it's best I go get entered now before there are no more slots. I grab a small pouch of money I had specifically for the entrance fee and make my way out of my room. My black cloak thankfully hides my blades pretty well, wouldn't want someone arresting me for trying to kill the King. Cause honestly it would probably be suspicious to anyone if they saw a woman carrying blades through the castle. But that's just the society we live in people.

Following the same way Merlin had lead me before, I make quick work of getting out of the castle. The lowering sun was still bright as it set, colors of orange and red splayed across the sky in a radiant pattern. There was no way to stop the smile that lit up my face as the sun warmed me from the inside out. Unfortunately it ended all too soon and I made it to the participant booth. Throwing my hood up quickly I approached the booth with a calculated confidence. Not too much to attract attention but enough to not be suspicious.

The person taking everyone's buy in was a short middle aged, probably close to becoming old aged, man. He had on some nicer clothing and a strange red hat that seemed a little too small for his head. As the coins I tossed on the counter clinked he looks up with saggy brown eyes. Dude needs some serious sleep. He's got eye bags on his eye bags right now. Crazy.

"Ah here to enter then?" His voice was grainy and sounded older than he looked as he reached out to grab the bag of coins. A simple nod is all I found myself able to give the man as he took out each and every coin to count. It took him ten minutes to count a hundred gold coins. "Looks like you're set. What'll be your name?" Name? Seems I never got that far.

"Let's go with Valor." Deepening my voice best I could the man gave a bouncy nod.

"Best of luck to you in the tourney Valor." I nodded at the man and quickly turned to leave. Unluckily I found King Arthur's personal Knights walking my way. Though my best guess would be they're actually walking to the tourney booth. I duck my head and make a sharp right, sliding behind the nearest wooden barrel.

"Come on Leon! We wish to know the tale of the woman who made you blush!" Covering my mouth to stop myself from laughing I peek over the barrel, off to the right well enough to be behind them now as they stop at the booth. The man next to sir Leon put his arm around his shoulder as he spoke. He was shorter than sir Leon but not by much. He had shoulder length brown hair and was wildly waving around his arm, not slung over sir Leon's shoulder, in crazy gestures.

"There was no woman. And for the last time I was not blushing, I do not blush." That's something I would have to disagree with. He has a very pretty blush in my opinion, it contrasts against his pale skin nicely.
