30: Finding The Music Notes Again

He drove away but not back home, he showed up at his best friend's house, well could he even call her that anymore? When Niki and Dom got back together, he left a rift grow between himself and Kazu, but he prayed she was there to listen, to let him in, to hug him and say it was all alright. Kazu opened her door, the blue-eyed boy staring at her with tears filling his eyes. Kazu needed him then, and he left. Is all she was thinking, she didn't say anything at first.

"Do you need something?" she asked, obviously knew what had happened being Niki told her but in the moment, she had no pity for him. She was hurt, she needed him when she was going through her breakup, and in her eyes, he left her. Now he needed her, and there he was on her porch asking for help. Dom couldn't bring himself to say a single word, his head fell in chest and his arms held her close, "Dom, it's going to be okay, okay?"

She said the few words that he needed to hear, "It would be okay" is all he wanted from her, "I'm sorry Kazu, I don't deserve you, or this. I left you when I got back with someone who didn't even love me, I won't do it again. I know I said that before, but I mean it, I promise." Kazu wrapped her arms around him, the same way he did her. Still not a word to be said.

She welcomed him into her house and brought him to her room. He told her everything that happened and explained how he felt. Kazu wasn't the best words so put it simply she played some music and held him, she finally decided to respond to his apology with "I can't say I forgive you Dom, but it's fine. It hurt because you chose her, once again and it made me feel like shit, but it is what it is now, just get some rest and sleep it off" Kazu put her head down on her desk giving her bed to desk, knowing he didn't want to leave going to his room still filling with memories of Niki.
