25: The Show Must Go On

And, BOOM!
Niki and Kazu dived head first into each other, and both hit the ground. They stood back up, their friends looking from the bleachers concerned, Niki waved at this signaling they were fine, Kazu fanning everyone away. "We're good!" she called. They got back into their positions, a ball was hit to Niki, she could hit it, but she didn't. Her reaction time was too late, "It's okay," Kazu called out to her, "You got it next time!" she added.

Kazu got the ball to set to one of their teammates, as she tossed it in the air, her hands were shaking and unsteady, the ball came back down as she hit it, she accidentally tapped it into the net. "Sorry, sorry!" she responded. "It's okay babe, shake it off" Niki replied to her. Their friends watched them scared for the two, they weren't like this. "Kazu's hands are shaking like crazy, and look at Niki's legs trembling" Dom said. "Those idiots, Im going to walk down there and smack those two, they're not okay" Scythe replied.

Carson, their manager called for a time out, he pulled both Niki and Kazu to the side, "Are you two okay?" they both nodded while drinking some of their water. "Im going to need to two to get your heads in the game." he replied to them, "Yeah, we're sorry" Niki commented back at him. The time out came to an end and the two ready to get back out their before they got benched, Kazu had a ball thrown right to her and she hit it, and fell to them ground. Niki ran to Kazu and the ball she hit fell back down and hit Niki in the head, she was already weak causing her and Kazu to pass out in another collision.

They woke up a few minutes later, they were in the nurses office, they both hopped out of the bed and ran out the door with their friends waiting their for them. "Where do you think you're going?" Mikey, Eli, and Dom said in sync. "We have to go, our game, they need us" they both babbled together. "You two need to rest until you're fully okay" Scythe said. Fifi right next to him nodding along, Kazu looked at Fifi and apologized them shoved her way between her and Scythe and ran to the gym where there game was, Niki following.

"Carson!" they both yelled to their manager.
