Fiona's POV
I was walking in the garden when the Southern King came up to me. I felt like I had to get away from him. His presence was suffocating.
"I'm sorry, but I have to get back to my office." I said.
"I'll walk you." I sighed.
"You can't possibly have time for that seeming as you only come to me when you want something." I turned and walked away from him. Fear crept up my spine. The last time I was this scared there was forbidden magic involved. Spies were the only ones that are permitted to use forbidden magic in any of the five kingdoms. I had to warn my brother.
"Brother?" I hopped I could I reach using of my telepathy.
"Sister? Is that really you?"
"Yes. Now listen I don't have much time. The southern king he is a spy."
"We know. Rose's brother told us."
"Why does he have spies?"
"I think he was looking for Rose. I am sure he wants her dead." Shock hit me as I pushed open the door to my bedroom. As soon as I flopped on the bed there was a knock on my door.
"I have to go. Duties." I sat up before my door swung open.
"Your Highness, sorry for the intrusion." Ryder entered and closed the door. He walked up to me and kissed me. I moaned lightly missing the feeling of his lips on mine. After a few seconds I pulled away.
"What are you doing?"
"This." He kissed me again. This time I did not pull away. He picked me up and moved me to the middle of the bed.
"We can't."
"You are the queen so we can." He kissed me again. I kissed him back. Soon our clothes were off and we came together. I started to fall asleep when there was a knock on the door.
"What is it?"
"Jason is in the hospital." Oh. Shit.
