Jason's POV

When I walked in with Rose in my arms I knew she could barely keep her eyes open. As soon as she heard other voices she was out cold. The king and the prince of the south came in right after us and seen Rose out cold. My sister had to cancel dinner with them so they ate by themselves. Good thing because I don't like them. They are selfish and they leave their kingdom in poverty as they buy everything they want.

Two days later:

I was sitting by Rose's bedside when the southern king walked in with my sister.

"I told you your son is not marrying her!" My sister all but yelled at him. I felt my body stiffen and my blood boil. Who the hell does he think he is? You can't marry a girl who doesn't even know who you are is. "Oh hello, Brother. How is our little dragon rider?"

"She is getting better Your Highness. She should be awake by lunch tomorrow. The doctor figured out that a tracking spell was put on her and this one as the ability to knock her out as well as to make them easier to get to. I have sent for a warlock who can break this spell. " The hatred for the king slipped into my voice.

"You know they will be coming here now right?" The king commented.

"No shit." I snapped.

"Brother!" My sister gasped. "He is a king. Do you want to start a war?" She scolded me. I hung my head to let her know her point had come across. I looked back over at Rose who was starting to wake. Why is she walking so soon? The doctor said she would only wake when the spell is broken... or if the person who placed the spell on her finds her.

"Rose. Rose, wake up." She slowly opened her eyes.

"Where am I? Why am I not in my room?" It took me a second to realize she thought. She though she was in the east kingdom.

"You're in the Red River and Silver Mountain Kingdom. Or more commonly known as the Central Kingdom." That would be because it's a mouthful to say, and let's be honest they don't really go together.

"Oh yeah, sorry about that, Jason." She muttered. I like the way my name sounded on her lips. It sent shivers down my spine.

"Doesn't she know that you are the prince?" The southern king asked.

"No." I snapped at him again. "I'm sorry for not telling you."

"It's okay. I understand. I was in a high place once a long time ago. The eastern kingdom thought they would kill my dad and take me prisoner, leaving my brother open to their influences." She sighed. Her stomach growled causing her to blush.

"Looks like we should get you something to eat." I told her.

"I could eat." The king said. My blood boiled again. I wasn't talking about you, asshat.

"Okay let's eat. I'll send for food to be sent to the dining room. Rose you might want to get dressed into something more appropriate for dinner. There are dresses in the closet. I'll send in one of my maids to help you. Jason out." I got up and left but not before seeing the disgusted look Rose made when my sister said dresses. I fought a small smile at the thought of her having to wear dresses against her will. She seems like she would be moody. I walked down the hall to my room. I sat at the table in the center of the room. Why does the king want his son to marry her? What does she have what he wants? Rather is she weak like he thinks she is? Well she is not weak any man who thinks she is weak is an idiot. Her stance when fighting is just meant to trick her opponent. Like everything about her. She holds the most strength I ever seen. But it drains her big time. I must help her with that, and soon. Or she could get herself killed. Suddenly there was a knock on my door pulling me out of my thoughts about Rose.

"Yes?" I called. A warlock opened my door. The warlock was a female with cat eyes and ears not to mention the tail she had. She was wearing a rather suggestive teal dress, but my eyes didn't linger on her body.

"You called about a tracking spell that needs to broken?" She inquired.

"Yes I did. She will be at lunch. Have you ate?"

"Yes I have. I will tend to her in a couple hours. I must gather a couple things then I will be back." I nodded. After she left my room I headed down to the dining room. Hopefully all goes well with this dinner. I left my room waiting for a disaster to happen.
