What to wear, what to wear?

All my clothes were black and yet I couldn't find an outfit!

Well, most of them are black.

The girls in my room had already left. Hermione had woken me up, but she had left early to go study before eating.

I then decide on the classic: white blouse with a black flowy skirt. I left my hair down, the dark curls reaching to my breasts - not too short, not too long.

I went down the stairs to the common room. Ginny was there, she was waiting for me, how nice.

O: "hey"

Ginny: "hey, how was your first night?"

O: "pretty good, shall we go?"

Ginny: "yes please, I'm starving!"

We headed downstairs. At the hall, we sat down with the same group as yesterday. I liked them, and was pleased to be friends with them.

O: "what class do we have first again?"

Hermione: "potions with Snape, and the Slytherins! What a start!"

O: "who's Snape?"

Hermione: "the teacher over there"

She pointed to a greasy black haired man with eyes as dark as his hair. His robes were all black too. He wasn't giving off a good vibe...

Harry: "we think he's working with you-know-who"

Hermione: "Harry we have talked about it. If he were with you-know-who then he wouldn't be with the order. Dumbledore trusts him."

O: "What's the order?"

Harry: "nothing, she means he wouldn't be teaching at Hogwarts"

O: "oh okay"

I didn't want to ask more because it clearly was a lie. I didn't expect them to trust me already.

O: "should we head to class?"

Hermione: "yes, right."

We got to class and waited in front of the door for the teacher. The Slytherins came in a group, and gave us glances. One of them pushed Neville. I really couldn't stand it, but I didn't want to start anything bad on my first day of school.

The teacher came and we got in.

Snape: "for this unit you will sit down with either someone from the opposite house or the opposite gender. In Hogwarts we encourage people to meet new people."

People sigh, and hesitantly start sitting down. I decided to take the lead by going up to a guy from the other house.

O: "sit with me you"

Guy: "Sure" he said, a bit confused, but smiling at his friends, happy to be sitting next to me.

"I'm Blaise by the way"

O: "call me O"

Blaise: "So you're the new girl. Honestly we were hoping that you would be in our house because you're a Pureblood, we would have had fun. Slytherin is so much better"

O: "Is it? Well, doesn't mean that since I'm a Pureblood I have to be in Slytherin. Take the Weasleys for example."

He scratched the back of his neck.

Blaise: "well you see the Weasleys, they're the Weasleys"

I looked at him confused, waiting to hear his explanation.

There wasn't one. We just laughed.

O: "Alright, but they're still purebloods. And it doesn't mean that since I'm in Gryffindor we can't hang out. Now tell me what I need to know. There's no one better than a Slytherin to bitch about people"

Blaise: "true that. So you probably already noticed the golden trio, Harry Hermione and Ron."

O: "yeah they're nice to me." He gave me a look. "but you probably hate them"

Blaise: "moving on we have our favorite victim Neville"

O: "okay okay, but what about people from your house"

I had noticed the blonde guy from yesterday wanted to know who he was.

Blaise: "okay well I'm Blaise"

O: "yeah I got that"

Blaise: "over there is Crabbe and Goyle"

I looked to see two over-built boys eating snacks.

Blaise: "in the very back, there's Pansy, she's kind of a whore and she's kind of with Draco. Draco Malfoy if you hadn't noticed."

We both look back over our shoulders.

O: "don't know him. Why kind of dating"

Blaise: "his family is kind of famous? Malfoy. And he's only with her when he wants to fuck."

Draco and Pansy noticed us and looked back at us questioning. I turned back in front, kinda embarrassed but thankfully Blaise waved at them which made it less awkward.

O: "and you?"

Blaise: "oh you know, just doing my stuff"

He stretched his arm and put it on my chair and gave me a big, flirty smile.

O: "take it off"

Blaise: "okay"

I laughed and so did he, and I could tell this is the start of a new friendship. I'm glad I had a friend in Slytherin. Like my family does, we need to not be bad, but not be good either.
