A few weeks had passed by already. Time was moving fast. I was sitting in the common room with the Golden trio when both Fred and George came barging through the door like angry ogres.

Fred: "I can't believe it!"

"What happened?" We all asked.

George: "Umbridge created a proclamation about us, a rule to ban all Weasley products!"

Hermione: "what? that's not possible she can't do that"

Fred: "well go look for yourself, it's hanging in front of the great hall"

And so we did, all of us, with Neville and Ginny joining us, and soon Luna too on our way there. There, on the wall, was written in big letters "All Weasley products will be banned immediately".

We stood there, staring at the sign for a moment, not realizing what was happening.

Hermione: "we have to do something, she's taking our freedom away, controlling us."

And she was right. For the next week, Professor Umbridge kept adding more and more proclamations. There were even rules about dressing fancy and nicely or one about not playing music during study hours. I didn't mind them too much because none of them directly affected me but I could tell there was a tension in every student, and people were getting fed up.

It was a Sunday evening, most students had stayed in their common room the entire day, doing some last minute homework or revision. Hermione and I were by the fireplace, reviewing our last History of Magic chapters.

As we finished, Seamus came up to us.

Seamus: "Hey Girls, what are you doing"

Both Hermione and I knew he had a massive crush on me and was always trying to flirt, but I could never take him seriously because of his huge accent.

Hermione: "just revising for tomorrow"

Seamus: "cute, I love a nerdy girl!" he says while giving me a look.

Hermione and I looked at each other desperately trying not to laugh.

Seamus: "Ermmh, what're you studying for?"

Hermione: "well we were going to study for Defence against the dark arts but clearly that class is an easy pass, even for Ron!"

Ron in the back: "Hey!"

Seamus: "oh have you heard the latest news? Apparently Umbridge is having a teacher interrogation this week, to see which teachers are actually worth keeping."

Hermione: "Hogwarts is the best school of wizardry, obviously it has good teachers, who does she think she is!?"

Harry: "Well there's Professor Trelawney, and Hagrid too, that aren't the most successful teachers."

Hermione looked down in acknowledgement, even though she hated professor Trelawney, she was ready to defend her against Umbridge.

O: "So this week she'll be interrogating teachers?"

Seamus: "Yeah, I can't wait to see Snape get roasted by her..."

The next day, like Seamus said, Umbridge was going from class to class to inspect the teachers. It really threw them off, you could tell they were very stressed.

During Potions class with Snape, we were paired up with our partners and were told to recreate a potion. I was on a table with Blaise, Harry and Ron and another group from Slytherin I didn't know. Snape was telling us in his monotonous voice how to properly add the finely cut roots of white roses in the potion when Umbridge walked in. Everyone looked at her, then looked at Snape. You could see the look of despair and revolt in Snape's eyes.
