(Back to O's POV)
Last night was horrible. I hated what my so-called friends did to me. I get out of bed and head downstairs after taking care of myself. It was a rough night and I didn't sleep much. It was Sunday so I was hoping for the common room to be quiet. However, to my biggest surprise, I was not alone. George, Fred, Harry and Ron were all sitting on the couch waiting for me.
I walk up to them.
O: "Hey"
Harry: "Look O, we're sorry about yesterday, it was really shitty of us to do that"
O: "Yeah, it was"
I look at George disappointed, I never thought he would have done something like that to me. And Fred too. Ron and Harry too. Ugh, I hate this.
O: "I understand that I've been missing a lot lately, but I wasn't hanging out with the Slytherins apart from the trip to Hogsmeade. Also, it's not like when I talk to them I talk about strategies to rule over the world. We have normal conversations, and I don't see how bad that can be. I'm not that stupid to get manipulated by them, and that's not what they're trying to do either. You guys are my closest friends, I trust you, at least I did. If I wanted to be with the Slytherins and turn your back on you I would have done it a while ago. But I'm with you guys. Although, the Slytherins are treating me better than you guys are. With them, I'm not worried about what I say and how I think because you guys wouldn't agree with me and therefore automatically assume I'm hiding something. Not everyone is against you Harry."
Harry: "I know. I'm sorry"
I leave and head to go eat. I didn't want to be with them right now, they hurt my feelings a lot. I sat down at the Gryffindor and started eating, almost no one was there since it was so early. I eat and go through the Daily Prophet. People were disappearing and fudge was calling Dumbledore a liar, like always.
Someone calls my name. I turn around to see the Slytherin group walking up to me.
O: "Hey guys"
Blaise: "Morning sunshine, missed me?"
O: "You can't imagine, I thought about you all night long!"
Blaise: "I bet you did"
We laugh.
Pansy: "Hey you're not gonna eat alone, come sit with us"
O: "Um, isn't that the Slytherin's table?"
Pansy: "Yeah but it's the weekend, you can still sit with us if it's not a formal meeting or something. Gryffindors mix with Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs a lot."
Draco: "Slytherins and Gryffindors don't mix."
Damn, he really didn't like me.
Blaise: "Oh come on, it's O, she's better than the Gryffindors."
Pansy: "Come on O."
They gesture to me to come with them so I do. I sat next to Blaise, facing Pansy who was sitting next to Draco. Next to him were Crabbe and Goyle.
Pansy: "did you see the new notice board Umbridge made?"
O: "No, what is it?"
Pansy: "She banned all clubs that have not been approved."
O: "Hm, doesn't concern me so I'm fine."
Blaise: "Same. Who do you think she's doing it for?"
Draco: "Harry and his two little puppies"
They all look at me.
O: "What? I don't know anything. I was with you guys all day yesterday."
Blaise: "What kind of club would they have?"
Draco: "I don't know but I'd like to find out."
O: "I doubt that they have one, they're always in the common room goofing around"
Pansy: "Ugh, so boring. How can you stand them?"
O: "We have interesting conversations, it's nice. What do you guys usually do anyways?"
Pansy: "Slytherin is so much better, we play music, have parties, do some spells and do other things too"
She winks at me as she says that.
O: "Like what?"
Blaise: "You guys don't do like, freaky stuff?"
O: "What?"
Pansy: "You guys don't fuck?"
O: "What? No! We can't go into each other's rooms, it's not aloud"
Pansy: "Does anyone actually care?"
O: "Um, yeah, the prefects?"
Pansy: "Oh yeah, I forgot you have Hermione as a prefect so obviously she's going to respect all the rules and even turn you in. We have Draco, and he's the best. Let's us do what we want."
She starts stroking his hair and looking at him with the most "in love" eyes. He shoves her away.
Draco: "Yeah, well I don't know how we're going to manage the halloween party. Umbridge is being a bitch about everything. We're going to have a hard time getting away with it."
Blaise: "If O can do that charm then we would be fine"
O: "I'll have to practice a bit"
Blaise: "Let's go near the lake. It's sunny outside."
Pansy: "Sure. Let's go!"
We walk together to the lake. It was nice outside, but still cold. There was still some snow but not too much.
Blaise: "So how does that Disillusionment Charm work? What does it exactly do?"
O: "It's like a bubble in a way, or a chameleon. What's in the bubble becomes the surrounding. And what's in the bubble is kind of muffled."
Draco: "So we can still hear the sound?"
O: "I think so, but like it's coming from a far"
Draco: "How will that work?"
O: "I guess people won't know where the sound comes from, because once in the room it won't sound as if the sound is from that room. And also in the room it will look like nothing is happening."
Draco: "It's still risky"
Blaise: "Since when is something risky going to scare you away?"
Draco: "It won't"
We arrive near the lake, near a tree.
Pansy: "Can you make that tree disappear?"
O: "I'm not making it disappear, just camouflaging it from what's around"
Pansy: "Oh yeah, right"
I take my wand and close my eyes. I concentrate and flick my wand downwards, with the palm of my opposite hand held outward.
O: "Salvio hexia. Muffliato"
A haze can be seen, slowly surrounding the tree. I walk to the opposite side of the tree and repeat the same charms.
Blaise: "Wow"
Pansy: "That's so cool!"
I was proud of myself, and glad they were surprised by my talent. Even Draco seemed startled.
After spending a while at the lake, I walked back to my room. It was soon afternoon and I had some homework I needed to finish. I was glad that I was integrating the Slytherin well. They were so easy to be friends with, I don't get why everyone hates them so much. I get that Slytherins have a bad reputation once they get out of school, but right now, I didn't see anything too concerning about them.
I was smiling to myself as I was gathering my work to head to the library. I had a nice morning and haven't felt so good in a while. I close the door to my room and find myself face to face with George.
George: "Hey"
O: "Hey"
