This chapter will be full of fluff because we haven't really had that yet. I hope you guys liked the last chapter.
Once I changed into some jeans and a regular t-shirt, I slipped on some vans and added a touch of makeup. My hair was down in waves, so there was nothing I needed to do with it.
Extremely excited, I practically ran down the stairs, almost tripping over the last step. I heard a chuckle, and whipped my head towards the male laughter. Ross was smirking, his arms crossed over his chest.
"Say a word and you're not getting any for a month." I warned.
The sound of a plate falling to the floor caused me to glance at the kitchen. There stood Rocky, his eyes wide as saucers and her jaw practically on the floor. Ross made his way over to me and threw his arm over my shoulders.
"You okay, bro?" Ross asked, chuckling slightly.
Rocky blinked. "Y-you guys are bumping uglies?" He threw his arms up in the air. "I'm older and I'm not even getting any!"
"Uh, sorry." I offered.
"Okay, we're gonna head out before you start rambling about your non-existent sex life." Ross grabbed his car keys and patted Rocky on the back. "Don't know when we'll be back, so just let mom and dad know we're out. Later." He gave his brother a two finger salute before leading us out of the house.
The second the door was closed, we busted out in hysterical laughter. "The look on his face was priceless!"
"Bumping uglies? Who the hell says that?" I laughed, wiping a tear at the corner of my eye.
"My dork of a brother apparently." My blonde stud grinned. "But enough about him, this night is about us."
"Does that mean you'll tell me where we're going?" I asked as he opened the passenger door of the car for me. I sat down and buckled in.
"Nope." He winked and shut the door, running around to the driver's side. Once in and buckled, he started the car and drove off.
About ten minutes into the drive, I began to bounce my knee up and down rapidly while chewing at my bottom lip. Not knowing where we were going was killing me, and Ross knew it because he started laughing.
"Scar, relax. You're gonna like the place we're going." He patted my thigh. "You're acting like I'm driving you to your death."
"Well, you're not the best driver." I teased, causing him to pout childishly. "And I can't help it. Surprises in my life have never been the best."
He didn't need further explanation to know what I was talking about.
"I promise you, Scar, that changes tonight." He grabbed my hand and gave it a squeeze, resting our joined appendages in my lap.
Once we reached the mysterious destination, Ross ordered me to close my eyes. I was almost positive he was leading me to my death, but did as told. He helped me out of the car and grabbed my hand, lacing our fingers together.
The first thing that hit me was the smell in the air, and it smelled like salt. I could hear what sounded like the ocean, plus the sound of laughter and chatter.
"Alright, open your eyes."
I peeled my eyes opened and gasped at the sight in front of me. Illuminating lights surrounded the area, mini shops lined up down the rustic looking boardwalk, and a huge ferris wheel seemed to be the center of attention. The way it was lit up so beautifully made anyone want to ride it.
I looked at the ocean and watched as the waved gently crashed down, the cycle repeating. Music was playing, and couples were dancing on the soft sand, laughing and kissing.
